R.A.F. Question
So I doubt that anything can be done but I bought my friend an Xbox One and Destiny for his wedding gift and he just hit the 7 days in right before the RAF program went live and I was wondering if there was any way the accounts could be forcibly linked since he wouldn't even be playing at all if I hadn't bought the console and the game for him and it sucks to miss out on fun items.

As it turns out there is nothing to be done in this case. When you purchase a TTK license, it's tied to the account. After 7 days pass on an account from when it's first signed in with, you will no longer have "referee" status. Sorry but there's nothing to do. They would have to forcibly link so many accounts if they didn't want to show special treatment and they won't do that.
