Having trouble with sun breakers? I have the solution!!!
Listen up guys! I found out today that a high-impact sniper headshot - two pulse-rifle bursts - a tripmine - intentionally dropping out of bounds of a ledge and then triple jumping back up again to avoid a hammer - into a throwing knife headshot, actually kills a sun breaker using his super!!!
So… you know, problem solved.

I killed two of them almost back to back the other day in a rumble match with a hawkmoon. The key is headshots and to to vary your strafing from quick back-to-back movements to slow extended movements to throw off their aim. Throw in a jump or two and even their hammer tracking can't keep up.

I've killed Sunbreakers before with much less effort and with using a scout rifle. All you have to do is keep jumping to avoid the hammers and usually if you get close enough to him you can shotgun him twice with a fast firing shotgun and then melee him. Its really not that hard to kill one if you just figure out how to. This is coming from a hunter who despises the Sunbreaker as much as anyone else but I despise them less now.

Or you could use black spindle.. oh wait it has really low aim asist so ofcourse the top players arent going to use it.

Yes if you can use a sniper some of use aren't fast enough to pull the trigger on a head shot or just before a head pops into the cross hair.
