I've been a fan of destiny long before it released. I've introduced multiple friends to this game. Not all of them still play, and frankly I'm beginning to think they have it right. Destiny was alot of fun at first but it soon becomes a battle against the RNG once you become max level. I understand that we can't get everything easily and there has to be a challenge to get items. But making this refer a friend content exclusive to people who have new players left to introduce is frankly a load of bull. I've been recommending destiny to all my friends since release. And now that all my friends already play it or refuse to get it I'm supposed to find more people to play this game just so I can get new stuff?! My latest friend joined just after the release of taken king. That was over 2 months ago and to qualify I need a 'friend' who started and registered with my account within a week of playing?! Honestly I'm fed up with destiny. I have referred destiny to friends. Now I regret doing so. So I'm here to say, save your money and buy a game where the creators care about their community. Get fallout 4, halo 5, or even Black Ops 3. Destiny is a waste of time and money.
