Tbh it would put Xur out of business is Exotic boot engrams became available. Why? Because there's such a small amount of exotic leg armor that if the actual exotic legs themselves were sold one week and then reduced in cost by as much as 30%, it would still be cheaper and easier to buy an engram and get a 50% chance at the armor you were going for. It would just be so easy to get the limited amount of leg exotics there are. BUT! They shouldn't just give up on it. Just add more leg exotics dammit! I'm surprised they left chest exotic engrams in the game rn tbh because of what little variety there is
