Please help!!

I'm constructing research questions for a project in my Anthropology class. Basically the project is focusing on specific types of population/community and I chose to focus on the gaming community. I need help with constructing research questions geared towards the gaming community. So far I've come up with, "do video games make individuals more violent?" "Do video games have a negative impact on education/social skills?" However these questions are a bit negative and I want to show the beneficial sides of gaming. So I ask you to help me brainstorm for better research questions! Please help a struggling college student out!

  • I can only speak for myself when I say that gaming has been a hobby of mine since I was 4 years old and it has always been fun and calming for me, Ive never personally known anyone to do harm to another due to frustration or misconceptions from playing a game(even though the News will tell us this) Ive been in many fist fights and worse growing up and it was never due to gaming, Right and wrong is Instilled in us at the earliest stages in life so I dont think its applicable for someone to say the game made me do it, ill end by saying that there are many hints of mental illness in people both young and old BUT family members, friends and even Coworkers tend to look the other way until its too late. I know this isn't exactly what you asked for but its something to take into consideration, good luck with everything.
