Because it takes no skill standing and starring at choke points and spawn killing is what ppl with no gun skill do who r afraid to interact in a firefight...don't make excuses because u need aim assist and can't snipe on the fly no one has ever sniped anyone in the history of this game while moving...

Because i can shoot a rubber band farther then a shotgun. Its not a toy cork gun. The range is so ridiculously unrealistic. Its still a gun. It requires you to get into range to be effective. Shotguns and fusions aren't even 1 hit kills unless you are close enough to be Sucking the guys dick. You have to actually move your aimer unlike snipers. If you let someone run up on you its because you suck. Snipers get target acquisition, unflinching, fast fire rate, semi auto, no sway, no lead at distance all built in and will beat most guns even shotguns at close range. I use every special type and fusion rifles have been nerfed to oblivion now shotguns. Snipers are the only viable option now because of idiots like you who wanted to nerf everything because you suck fat salty balls at shooters and need to change the game to adjust to your style instead of adjusting your play. Go play bf4 put on full choke then come back and tell me shotguns have too much range in this game
