I believe Hawksaw has more base range but pdx has more aim assist (10 pts). I know using rifle barrel to more than double my pdx's range puts the stability in that "it looks high stability but still kicks to the left too much" feeling.
-
They are the same gun stats wise I personally would go with the surros but that's just cause I like the sights more tbh
-
So I finished leveling my Suros and it's got full stability and perfect balance... And I still hate it.
-
They're the exact same gun
-
Literally they're the same 😒
-
Perhaps try a different weapon..I don't know, maybe a scout..I'm almost positive you'll equip a sniper and the raid machine gun..welcome to clone wars.

Bump. Interesting post though obviously for PVP only. In PVE it's like asking which ammo is better in slingshots, rocks or marbles. To answer your question though, it seems like I get killed more often by Hawksaws but they might just be more popular. I am so terrible in PVP I could literally be killed by a handcannon.

At the moment hawksaw is a beast in trials
-
Hawksaw with any stability perks or headseeker is pure terror.
-
They are basically the same gun Hawksaw is the Crucible version and the other it's straight out of the factory. What you should focus on is the perks. Personally I got Nerwines Mercy from Last IB from the vendor and to be honest I don't need another pulse.
-
PDX - 45 being an armsday weapon feels much more customizable compared to a hawksaw to me.
-
If I had to get killed by one of these... I would prefer your melee because I'm so sick of pulse rifles...
-
I really do like my pdx's roll
-
They are the same weapon (stat wise) only with different paint jobs. So it depends on their perks.

Edited by Lost Sols: 11/22/2015 5:09:19 AMI don't like either one. I really wanted to, but they slowed them down from year one high RoF PRs and they're just not the same.

Suros PDX-41 :)

With the changes coming in December range for both of those weapons will become an issue. I would go with the one that maintains high stability and has a range boosting perks. If both have similar range and stability stats I would go for hawk saw if you are using a sniper as a secondary because of its higher handling stat which allows you to quickly switch weapons. With hawk saw finishing up a body shot snipe will be easier. For everything else use the suros it has higher base stability and aim assist making three burst kills easier.
-
Hawksaw because it's name is awesome
-
Suros has slightly better stats
-
Roll dependent. Nirwens mercy?? <<<
-
I think it depends on the roll
-
They are legit the same
-
Been doing better with the suros.
