inventory/vault screen stuck in vault
I was just in my vault, switching back and forth between vault and character inventory (multiple times), and at one point I became stuck in the character inventory screen! Either circle (ps4) to exit or options to "return to vault" would have the effect of "returning" me to the same exact inventory screen I was on, same with any of the three you can get to while in the vault (i.e. not roster nor settings). And since I couldn't get to "change character" the only way I could get out of it was to exit up to the ps4 OS and close application.
Edit: it was on my warlock and about 5 min ago or so, in case you can pull any other data to help you troubleshoot.
Edit: I am not able to reproduce the problem AT WILL, though of course it happened again on its own.

I know how to get out without closing destiny:get a friend to invite you to their fire team and when you join you get pulled out of the GUI when you enter the loading screen.

Probably related to the same thing: Today I noticed, while managing inventory (not even in the vault), that just after inspecting (upgrade triangle on ps4) some gear, it made the L1/R1 buttons inactive for switching inventory tabs. Something strange is afoot :)

This just happened to me a second time. Only way out is to quit the game, so annoying.

I was able to recreate it by a inspecting a piece of gear in my vault. first, go into the vault, then go to a weapon, compare(R2 for ps4 controllers), then inspect it. Then hit circle and you're in the infinite loop. only the touch pad can get you out of it.

1 ReplyI had this too. I just kept spamming the exit button and luckily it responded. It's only ever happened once though luckily.

Yeah, have had it happen twice- all I can do is quit Destiny.

Same, couldn't exit multiple times. Had to close destiny and try again...got stuck...repeat. will try the touch button if happens again, didn't try that.

Same, theirs a bug, you get stuck inside the vault screen and the only way to exit is closing down the destiny application and signing back on. :(

1 ReplyHere's how to recreate it. Enter vault. Inspect gear with triangle. Press start. Inspect gear on your character with triangle. Hit circle. Go over to quests. Boom, you're stuck. Pressing down on touch pad with bring you out.

...and it just happened again! Super annoying to get stuck in that screen and have to restart.
