A TREE WENT THROUGH A HOUSE !!!!
last night my city experienced TORNADO warnings. so i went to my basement and sat and waited. well nothing bad really happened except my power went of and i had to sleep with no AC...i live in Georgia so if youve been here during a humid summer you know how bad that is. well i woke up this morning to see the damage and it was pretty bad. my house was fine im just missing an umbrella. people down the street are missing a fence, poodle, gutters. and another house a tree flew through it. and if any of you watch nascar the ATL motor speedway was trashed i heard, i live really close to it. the codos were messed up there. just thought i would share my story. im sure others have better ones if they live in TORNADO ally.

my house is two floors. a few years back a huge pine tree in our backyard was struck by lightning and fell straight through our house. i was downstairs reading a book, when i hear a large boom, next thing I knew, there was a huge tree not three feet away from me (the couch got pwned).

Dark david are you in NC? I remember my first huricane. I forget what name it was. We didn't get hit that bad. I saw a tree about to fall on 2 new cars so i ran over to their house and told them to move them. Sure enough 10 min later the tree fell right where their cars were parked.

I'm in Orlando FL, and just last month we finally got our roof fixed.. Now this, more storms... If I ever build a home in here, its will like one of those cartoon homes that sink into the ground! Yeah baby!!

gubba, you expericence the wrath of Hurricane season, remember? I went through three Hurricanes. (it would've been four had I lived somewhere else) This happened almost a year ago. People are still waiting for their homes to be rebuilt. And now we got another Hurricane coming. I saw one persons house, a huge Oak Tree went right down the middle of their house. Luckily no one was hurt. Their next door neighbors tree went down but away from the house and they put their mail box on top of the log. We went onto an intersection but a tree was in the way. So we drove onto the sidewalk and drive past it. [B] EVERY ROAD HAD A TREE BLOCKING IT [/B] Talk about bad luck. A billboard bent over. A car was parked next to the billboard. The billboard bent over the car and didn't even scratch it. But I'm happy that you're ok, but the others...you should help out.

I had a tree fall on my car, but it would be a lot worse if it fell in my house.
