I went up to the Gunsmith just now to claim my two armsday orders, one pulse rifle and one shotgun. When I looked at what I could get from turning them in, I saw two of exactly the same pulse rifle (instead of a pulse rifle and a shotgun). Thinking this was a little weird I went to check if it was actually a shotgun order I had placed and of course it was.
I checked the two pulse rifles I could get again and they were still there, both the same. I went into my inventory again and pressed 'X' on the shotgun order to check it out and it just disappeared. I went to see if the orders were still available to take (again, two pulse rifles). I took one just so I could get one of my orders, and I recieved one of the pulse rifles as expected and the other I could have taken disappeared (presumably because the shotgun order was no longer there).
Obviously there are two bugs here, showing the two pulse rifles were there was only one and a shotgun, and the fact that the other order disappeared. I am pretty annoyed that it did because now having waited a week to get one, I didn't receive it and the Gunsmith doesn't even have another shotgun on order this week.
I'd really like it if I could get my order back (Bungie if you're listening I'm sure you have logs you can check for my account after my login half an hour or so ago) or at least for Bungie to fix the press-X-and-your-order-disappeared bug. I've seen lots of people online very confused about why it has happened to them and why it is even possible to do. I'm sure it is just an oversight but unfortunately it has very unfair side-effects.
Thanks

Edited by UnkindRipGore: 11/5/2015 12:04:10 AMHi, It seems you have a bit of a misunderstanding unfortunately.
Obviously there are two bugs here, showing the two pulse rifles were there was only one
The game gives you a choice of two different weapons of the same type for each weapon order. After you had selected your first weapon choice, you would have had another choice between two shotguns for your shotgun order. Doing anything but selecting the weapon from the gunsmith can result in the order being lost.
It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/153798839/0/0

How many weapons you see when you go to the gunsmith depends on your rank with him. If you are rank 2, then you will see Two pulse rifles, except they will have different perks even if they look the same. Once you picked the weapon you wanted, it will precede to the next weapon you ordered.

Someone answered your problem. I would like to add. Bungie cannot return dismantled items.
The following services cannot be provided: Recovery of dismantled/scrapped/deleted/discarded items* Reset character features Transfer of items between platform accounts Reset or refund weapon and armor upgrades Refund currencies on accidental purchases Revert Exotic Bounty choices Refund materials on accidental reforged weapons Restore deleted characters
And further down:
The choices players make in Destiny are often permanent. Please be careful when performing any of the above actions.
