Bungie, could you please clarify that the blue skull mask is or isn't silver exclusive?
I've seen multiple answers saying yes you can and no you can't so could you please clarify if the blue skull mask only available from the legendary packs tess sells or can it drop from a rare (blue) package?

there was a small chance to get it for free from your free package after that it becomes a silver exclusive

7 RepliesIts only obtained from Legendary bags, it says so in the content description. If some of you people think it drops as a blue, then go ahead, go ahead and grind for it, I GURANTEE you, you won't get it. Others will say, "NOo! I gots mins free!!!1" Thats because everybody got ONE(1) FREE Legedary bag, courtesy of Bungie, therefore a small number of you rolled the skull mask first go, consider yourselfs lucky. The rest of us? Gotta pay for some silver and get your legedary bags like that. Otherwise, you can grind out candy, get your blue drops...infact you can get every single blue drop EXCEPT THE LEGENDARY SKULL MASK.

You would think that the Legendary Skull Mask would only be obtainable through completing the Festival of the Lost Quests. I find that it shows how money hungry #Bungie and #Activision actually are knowing people would want this exclusive and elusive Mask for their characters. Though it is only cosmetic, I would love to have one. I should have known that this would have happened after spending $10 to get the mask and will continue to happen in the future. Hopefully before the franchise comes to an end, Bungie will see how many disgruntled players there are and give something back to it's community. I highly doubt it because of greed on their part.

It's very simple dude. It only comes from those purple packages. You only Get one free one. If you're the luckiest guy in the world you can get it from your one free one... If not you pay silver. So in a sense yes it's sort of exclusive to buying with silver unless you're a lucky asshole

In game items like hidden exotics etc is cool and fun because it keeps mystery. This is just bullshit. Of course this is just my opinion

Not silver exclusive but legendary crate exclusive. You can buy the legendary crates from Tess or get lucky with that 1 legendary crate Eva Levante gives you.

5 RepliesI keep seeing people say "my friend got it from 4 paper scraps", never with a picture. There is also never a claim that they got it, just their friend. I personally believe these friends are either unwilling to admit to silver, or don't exist. This isn't just an empty claim either. I decided to do an experiment for everyone. I dropped about $50 on boxes, ended up with 3 purple skulls. After I had converted all the blue masks I had grinder for to purple with the obtained loot, I broke down the extras and had enough material for over 50 masks if I included the scraps I had saved throughout the week and my newly obtained scraps. No blue skills showed up. They only showed up as legendary. Either they are so rare that most people claiming their friends had a rare one have lying friends, or they don't drop. Since NOONE has a pic, I will assume the latter.

4 RepliesYou have 3 shot's at it for free, 1 for each character. You're first legendary chest or gift box you open. If you do not score it then, it's a buy to win it scenario and that is also rng based.

The mask can only be obtained from a treasure of the lost package. Either you got lucky on the first package from Eva or you pay up for it.

2 RepliesThe Blue Skull Mask is not Silver exclusive because everyone that logs in and gets one free legendary mask package has a chance to get a skull. After that if you didn't get the skull you must pay for more legendary mask packages to HAVE A CHANCE at getting one
