What difficulty will you be playing Halo 5's campaign the first time through?
What difficulty are you guys going to play on? I can't decide which I will do, so if you guys could please help me decide, it would be much appreciated.

10 RepliesI've soloed on Normal. For anyone desiring to attempt a solo run on Heroic or Legendary, be prepared to tear your hair out. It's Halo 2 Jackals all over again.

I always run through it on heroic solo first time through. Then it's multi-player afterwards.

If I had an X1 and was getting I'd solo heroic and attempt legendary on co op.

1 ReplyEvery Halo Ive played. Solo 1st run (Normal) - to enjoy everything and see what the most challenging missions will be. Solo 2nd run (Legendary) Co-Op 1st run and every time after 2nd (Heroic) Co-Op 2nd run (Legendary)

Heroic is just the right amount of challenge. You won't breeze through the game as easily.

I want to beat it as quickly as possible so I can play Warzone, so I'm going with Normal my first run through, I'll start up Legendary solo after I get bored with multiplayer

Im just gonna jump into legendary. And then maybe start mythic if they still have skulls.

Heroic. Easy and normal are too easy for me now and I'm saving Legendary for later.

Always start on legendary. It wouldn't feel like Halo on anything less.

I'm gonna run it through on normal first time around breathe in the story get into the multiplayer then run it through on legendary

Always Heroic for me, every new Halo release. I even throw on Heroic because it just feels like the proper balance of hard, but not painstakingly hard, and it feels right. On top of that, we're going to be in fireteams of 4. I think we should be all set.

Heroic, just so I can enjoy the game my first time. Then I have to get my friends together for legendary.
