Just as the title says undo the handcannon nerf. Im not talking about thorn im talking about the general handcannon nerf bungie did. the accuracy is messed up. I see that im aiming at the head of an enemy but 90% of the time it doesnt count as a hit plus you basically have no ammo in pve. Give me my handcannons back.
Edit 1: the most important things are the accuracy and the reserve ammo. If i aim directly at the head of an enemy (pvp & pve) i should get a headshot but what happens most of the time is that its only a bodyshot or it completly misses the target.
Edit 2: we reached 1000 replies. Come on bungie say something.

Undo the aim assist nerf and a little bit of a range buff I think would be good
-
Only 1/2 of the nerf

I'm fine with hand cannons as they are. I still destroy in the crucible with my eyasluna and I've noticed barely any difference in pve. The only thing I'd say is that the base stats of year 2 hand cannons could be better, most of them aren't even half a match for year one weapons like lord high fixer and TDYK.

i'm perfectly fine with the hand cannon nerf. Granted i have a very nice imago loop but they perform as the designers intended them to be. The inconsistency that everyone says is there is a result of poor range. Get a middle range stat gun and it'll feel like hand cannons of old. They just won't be able to snip which is a good thing. i used to struggle with poor range hc but with the mid range imago and high stability i'm competing with pulses and snipers when i'm at my optimal range. These guns being the "unbeatable meta" at the moment. TLDR: they're fine the way they are. keep hunting for a better gun and get closer than you were in y1.

Also I'd like to suggest a perk addition to the first curse. After a precision kill with TFC bonus precision damage is added to the perk until reload. TLW gets bonus damage for non ads shots TFC should get bonus ads precision damage after a precision kill. It would make the two exact opposites. Just a thought.

Signed. Big time. Tired of being thrown in with the PVP cry babies. 99% of my game play is PVE. I miss my lovely cannons of hand. For a while I thought bungie was only catering to the PVP crowd. If I want a good PVP game I'll play a different game.

I believe the range nerf was needed very badly. But the accuracy is totally jacked. You should be able to hit right on the dot within the effective range. Signed!

SIGNED, all the primaries seem like garbage thanks to all the nerfs, making things like Acolytes bullet sponges

definitely- PVE didn't need a nerf for sure and only a couple hand cannons were griped about in pvp lack of map variety is more the issue in pvp than any perceived-as-OP weapon/weapon type
