Black Spindle ROBBERY (Bungie stole my 310 Telesto I used for Infusion)
So, bungie says it will nerf black spindle, but that it will not touch infused weapons?? Well, I infused a 300 BS with a 310 Telesto (=307 BS) and now that is nerfed to 287.
This is because the 300 BS really should have been 280, however that math only works on NON-INFUSED weapons!!!
Ok, so if I had infused that 280 weapon with the same 310 Telesto (as I DID), it would have come out approximately[b] 304[/b].
-blam!- YOU bungie!!! All for your stupid -blam!- up!!!
And don't even try the bull shit comments about how bungie said it would be nerfed. Yes, they did, but more importantly, they said NO INFUSED WEAPONS would be touched! This they explained was because they didn't have any way to track what was used to infuse with.
Again, -blam!- YOU bungie!

Yes they did. I even said that in my post. My point is not about the fact that it was nerfed it is about the level of the nerf. It was not EVER disclosed in any message that this would be a blind 20 point spice. "Adjusted" is the word used, a word used to define variability. The deployment of the update with the nerf could have VERY EASILY accounted for the attack value of weapons used for infusion. Instead it was a blind 20 point slice.
To those who support I salute you. To those who wrote respectful, intelligent replies (despite which side of the fence you're on) I salute you. To those who are trolling morons who wrote idiotic nonsense GFY.

Yeah. All black spindles, no matter the attack value, went down 20 points. It's another way bungie proves they are lazy. It's easier to do that than to figure out the actual value those snipers should have. I had one at 304, which I got from infusion with a 305 raid shotgun. Now it's 284. I wasted a 305 shotgun, basically. If that same black spindle were 280 at the time of infusion with this shotgun, it would have been much higher than 284.

I infused my 310 spindle into a 1000 yard stare and bought dozens of 300s for infusion materials everything was left alone. Now my other 2 or 3 spindles that were left over are 280 but none of my infused weapons were dropped to lower values after the patch unlucky I guess sorry for your loss (R.I.P)

Because you bought that balck spindle from the kiosk, meaning it started at 300. And they bumped every black spindle back by 20. Thats what you get for trying to cheat the system.

They said all black spindles were getting lowered and any weapons you put the 310 BS on would be fine. You bought a second and infused it. That's on you. You misunderstood and tried to skirt the nerf. I used my 310 on my 1000 yard stare, bought a bunch of the 300 and got everything else to 300, left the BS alone because I knew it was getting nerfed.

I had the exact same thing happen but mine was 304. Should never have been lowered anyway because of the difficulty of getting it

I will never understand the logic to nerf something in the game. Just make other stuff better. This item dropped accidentally at 310. Why not keep that since the mission is a real killer to finish. Also... if they DID do a nerf... why not just for those dropping after the nerf point and then leave all the 310's already dropped intact - as a gift for their screw-up. Nerfing already dropped and infused items is a pretty shitty move.

They said the weapons you infused to get higher light level using the black spindle would not get affected ie my 1000 yard stare was infused to 310 using my black spindle, not the other way around.

When Bungie said that infused weapons would not be touched they meant that weapons that you infuse a higher level black spindle into will not be effected. Infusing things into black spindle to make it stronger will be affected

I got the 310 black spindle, infused it to another gun. Bought a new black sp8ndle and infused it up to 300. Now it got nerfed to 280. Wtf?!
