First. pwned. Seriously though, this forum is supposed to be for comments and discussion about the story, not a race to get on the first page of posts. : ) Also, don't whine and complain about how this is a terrible weekly update. It's a STORY, not the update. Somehow some people think that everything that appears on our front page must be an update and therefore must contain some new Halo related information.

Second. I do see some people that always rush to get the first update, like on Frankie's Updates. Oh well. Now for my comment. I don't know much about this stuff - but hopefully it will run well. [Edited on 6/7/2005]

How come almost all of the contestants, are 30+ year old nerds? If i had a lan party which i will never will, id have n age cap. And im not trying to start -blam!-, if u are one of those 30 olds good on u, i want my dad to play, but a lan party?

I love lan parties!! I had them nearly every weekend for halo1! It was a blast and we alawys enjoyed it. Although with Halo 2 we havent had many many lan parties, but i hope to change that. It is the best thing you could do with a bunch of friends. Oh.. And I Made The First Page! w00t...

Yeah that sounds like fun.. i have been to 2 large halo2 LAN parties. each time the numbers reaching 40-50. where as you guys seemed to only have a few stations to play at. everybody who came was required to bring a tv and an xbox, personally my team brought 3 tvs and 3 boxs... it makes it really crazy when everybody in the room is playing at one time. it was set up as a tourny and all those people really kept the organizers of the party busy. as for food and drinks after the first LAN party they got a few sponsers: a pizza place, a drink place and some others. we got like 35 pizzas i think and several, several 24cases of mountain dew and more of others. haha we ran into the problem of some people not having the update.. and one of our sponsers just happened to be a wireless internet provider, so they gave us a temporary link and got everybody hooked up. well i doubt anyone cared about that but if you do, they have a site for it and it is http://www.wootwootproductions.com/ well that is all(my game name is pan...) -Jeff

Nowhere near as fun as playing Halo 2 on a projector screen mounted on top of a minibus. With free beer, of course.

LAN parties? We've been having them for years, negro. Here's a recipe for total destruction: 1. Beers, wine coolers, malt liquors, 40's, kegs, hard liquors, or any combonation there of. 2. Food is optional for the boys, but get some for the girls...and some ruffies-sychumz. 3. Lots of smokey smoke to tokey toke. 4. Several gallons of water for rehydration. 5. Sleeping gear 6. Four Xboxes with four copies of Halo 1 BECOUSE HALO 2 SUCKS DICK ! ! !

i would love to go to a good lan party and have fun until i pass out, but i live on the border of canada, in a small town in the middle of the woods, around a lake in Minnisota. i know many people and i have yet to find anyone else who even has a x-box, let alone halo. only me and my friend do and we do get together to play online right next to each other, so i consider that a lan party until i can get into one of those cool looking lan partys with awsome salsa (or so i have heard) wish me luck that i can get to a lan party

magic9ball, you don't get invited to LAN parties becouse you suck and you're terrible company and thats why nobody likes you. I think it's highy ironic that your telling everybody they have no lives on an internet forum, but I think you're just mad becouse a.you get owned by six-year-olds b.your own father figured out his son sucks as a person and decided to play Halo 2 during your rough adolesent years c.it is YOU who has no life and that's why your lashing out. Don't worry, you'll grow up a little and learn to deal with your insecurities as you go. You could even have your own LAN party, wouldn't that be fun? If you get all the stuff togather on my list, I'm sure you won't end up in a room full of Xboxes, alone, sobbing quietly into cleanex. Anyway, tiger, I believe in you. Even though I don't like you, I believe in you. Say high to your dad for me.
