Mayhem Rumble is the prime example why sunbreakers need a nerf

Just played a match, stormcaller warlock. Had 6 supers in that game and 3-4x a 1v1 vs a sunbreaker. I got wrecked. Worst game ever since I play destiny with a 0.33 k/d (1.35 overall and with my titan 1.40 as a striker (havent played with him since kings fall released so dont even think of calling me a sunbreaker)). Why I think sunbreaker is op: - duration of super - number of hammers - armor + recovery (health recovers blazing fast) Heck even the nightstalkers duration is much less with only 3 shots. It's so freaking ridiculous that bungie even releases such a broken pvp class. Lets go salt. //EDIT1: salt //EDIT 2: thanks to all who say "lol mayhem", " dont play that game mode", "what a good mode to say if a class is op". Thanks kids, one reply less I " have to" comment. You clearly didnt get my post. Invalid arguments: - Titans are tank class, we are supposed to have a lot of health - use sunbreaker, voidwalker or whatever. I know I can nova bomb a sunbreaker What I want to say is that the sunbreaker has by far the strongest [u]timed[/u] super. Thx //EDIT 3: wow people come up with the same arguments all over again, I'm tired of commenting. Everyone who is butthurt and can't admit that the sunbreaker is way too good just wait until they nerf it (which will happen for sure) and then you will be butthurt af.

  • Reduce armor and make the hammers fly just a bit slower. Or, they coukd make it so you can't throw another hammer until the first one lands.

    • No, mayhem rumble is a prime example of how the only thing Sunbreaker really has going for itself is the super. You all want to nerf the super? Fine, but can we give the Titan a few perks that don't rely on the super being active?

      While using the handcannon provided with the First Curse quest using defender Titan, I had more trouble with Stormcallers than any other class. Managed to kill 1 after he killed the entire team and had a sliver of health. Killed x4 Sunbreakers the whole time. If yer in your super at a far range wiyh stormcaller yer gonna get spanked. With all the complaints sunbreakers get I'm so surprised barely anyone knows how to counter one. I'd go as far to say out of every Super I find them the easiest to take out. I have more trouble with GG, Blade Dancer and Stormcaller.

    • I started to dislike mayhem just because I don't have fun when im killed by the same sunbreaker twice in his one activation. It sucks. Or the fact that the team that rocks more of them has a slighter chance to win. Or the fact that stormcallers melt everyone in their way and its impossible to escape their super once they get you. Or lots of golden gun hunters...

    • Mayhem is the reason supers shouldn't charge for no reason... You should have to actually get kills to get the damn thing. I was in a game yesterday where a guy went 1-16 and that one kill came from a nova bomb.

    • I just played mayhem for the first time. As a sunbreaker. I died the least by hammers. Even had my hammer canceled out a few times Of all of my deaths by super, storm caller was by far the most. Every other death was by a storm caller Having said that, it was the most fun I've ever had in crucible. By far. I think you people need to get over yourself and being mad when you can't kill out a super bare handed

    • But you can dodge a hammer, it's harder to dodge a golden gun with 3-4 shots. I'm a below average crucible player and I don't think it's a problem

      • You just suck. Go in with a defender titan, helm of s14, max armor, armor of light, void armor perk on chest piece, and supression grenades. You have your super charged before your bubble runs out meaning endless bubbles. Works great if you use your supression grenades effectively

          • I do not main a TITAN or use one anymore but I believe that defender bubble should be able to hulk smash the area of the bubble when slamming it down. That's it ^.^

            • Omg blade dancer is so op! Well sunbreakers can do everything blade dancers can with more armor, longer super time, way stronger health regen, and a way higher range to kill. Nah sounds perfectly balanced to me.

              • Ward of Dawn needs a buff. It needs to make it so anybody active in a super can not enter. I'm sick of sunbreakers laughing at it and running inside and killing me with one hammer. I'm not necessarily on the side of nerfing sunbreakers, but ward of dawn is easily the worst super in the game. Even just making it so anybody in an active super can't enter would do wonders.

                • Really? Out of 5 games I've played today I've been gg'd, nova bombed, and tethered out of my hammer. Try using suncharge In mayhem then come back.

                  • They do have a strong super as the class is also built around it. You also played a gamemode that benefits Sunbreakers as well by it amplifying the best part of the subclass.
