Based on my experience, this Quest registers deaths consistently but fails to register kills consistently, even in instances where the LW was equipped or used directly for the kill. I've spent hours on the Quest and am extremely frustrated and the free time I have to enjoy Destiny is becoming an additional stress-added activity. As a customer, all I can say is Bungie is consistent at being inconsistent. Difficult to manage expectations with this approach... Of course, the quest may be working exactly as Bungie intended, and we are simply ignorant to the Quests' actual parameters. Why else would they provide an ambiguous Quest explanation and offer no express or informal guidance? Seems to me this is consistent with their approach of consistently being inconsistent... Either way, Bungie should either: a) fix the quest so it gives credit for progress every time it is earned, or b) communicate the actual quest parameters so there is no uncertainty on what constitutes progress toward achieving the quest. Basically, do anything to better manage our expectations, even if you are unable to provide a definitive solution.
