The World Piercer - An Exotic Heavy Sniper

The World Piercer. "The universe can run, but it can't hide." Exotic Scope Upgrade image: http://i.imgur.com/0hpLEME.png --------------------- Credit of the gun's design goes to http://www.gurmukhbhasin.com/ I have a specific idea in my head of what it would really look like...but i cant 3d model, and after an hour of looking, this was the best suited weapon design with the proper angled profile for the perk screen. --------------------- Weapon firing procedure: When trigger is pulled, a 1 second delay occurs while the battery charges the mag rails. Maintain aim during this period. Once fired, the force of the warp round will push you backwards several feet and kick your aim high into the air. The rounds leave a trail of warp residue in the air for a few moments. Enemies can track your position so move! The mag rails have to cool prior to reload, which is a complex one. Moreso than an LMG mechanism. Max Ammo: 1 shot per mag | 2 shot total The shots have infinite penetration, but the X-ray scope has much shorter, finite viewing range. This weapon garners it's inspiration from the likes of Red Faction's Rail Driver and Perfect Dark's Farsight. The weapon provides seeing through walls and instant kill shots but has very limited ammo (2 rounds at full pack) and serious weapon handling issues. Whenever this weapon is fired, the user is propelled backward several feet...so be careful of your footing. This is a HEAVY sniper rifle inspired by other games and a little bit of my imagination. The crit impact of this gun would be very substantial, but with only 2 rounds from a heavy ammo synth, you cannot abuse it. It also allows for balanced use in Crucible. Imagine the permeating laser beam tracking a target that everyone sees piercing the walls! RUN AWAY HAHA! CONDENSED EDIT HISTORY: 1. Gun does not auto-track like the Farsight. ADS causes a visible laser to pierce the world, allowing enemies to track your general location. You can't shoot bosses across the whole level because 1.) they haven't spawned yet and 2.) Xray vision isn't unlimited. The quality of the xray and intensity would fade over distance. Yes warp rounds are triple burn. It is called the World Piercer for a reason. No element can defend from it, including cheat mode cabal shields ( why don't they cover themselves with that armor anyways...)     Congrats, you combined QBB and SS and made it twice as OP as it could have been, with a couple of (be honest) really negligible quirks to try to balance it. It shouldn't pierce Phalanx shields. The amount of defense those shields have is insane, and suggesting that the beams would penetrate it already screams game-breaking. This wouldn't just become the Gjallarhorn... it could potentially one- or two-shot bosses. LFG and #Recruitment would burn. I see what you're going for, but I don't like it. Let's just wait for SS to reveal itself.
