Can't Access The Taken King

I first purchased in the middle of July for PS4, and chose the special edition on account it advertised itself as having a reservation for the 2 upcoming expansions. It didn't state which expansions it was referring to directly, but linked to The Taken King's store page in the description. On account I was still slightly skeptical, I talked to PSN support shortly after purchasing it to confirm what expansions I had/would have access to, and the support confirmed that I would have access to The Taken King when the expansion released. Nearly 2 months later the expansion releases, and when I try to access the first mission there's a big splash screen asking me to purchase The Taken King. I went back to the support chat and asked again, and they denied that I ever had any sort of access to The Taken King and would have to purchase the expansion at full price again in order to access it. They ignored my questions regarding the conversation I had with a previous support person before the expansion's release. All of the expansions (Dark Below, House of Wolves and Taken King) have similar displays that say I need to buy the expansion in order to access it. I already know enough about how infamously terrible Playstation's support is outside of my own experiences, so I'd prefer to ask here before going back to them, in the hope that Bungie's support or other users might be able to help me. Are there any ways to solve this? Even if I can't get The Taken King without having to buy it again, is there at the very least some sort of discount I could get on it?

  • CathodeRyan, If you did purchase the TTK expansion it will show up in your transaction history. You can find it here , www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/gb/main Scroll down to the bottom of the page, under account select Manage Account, sign-in and select account then click on transaction history. You should be able to see which version of Destiny you purchased. Hope that helps!
