Need a bit more Bungie, just a bit more.

If you agree with anything I say in this post, please do not hold your tongue, tweet, share and comment so Bungie sees this and at the VERY LEAST considers it. On one of your recent articles, you mentioned the return of Iron Banner AND Trials for the same week. Why is there a "Vanguard?" in the tower? I'm sorry, I really like this game but there needs to be more for us PvE players. And since this IS the suggestion feed, here's what I think. Why not put something beside the strike playlists? Like a point-based arena mode? (PoE is dead) I would spend HOURS on that! Example: Enter with a fireteam, and you land on a randomly selected Arena with a correlating enemy race (kinda like the Prison, but with taken). This enemy race lasts until the very end (or maybe add a special drop that you can use to open up a new room). Depending on the number of people in your fireteam, you get a default percentage increase to your starting difficulty depending on your chosen difficulty setting. Easy: 1 person - Cannot enter. 2-3 = Default 0% increase to wave numbers. 4-5 = +10% Full = +15% Hard: 2-3 = +10% 4-5 = +15% Full = +20% (By this I mean, say the first wave is only supposed to be 60 assorted enemies, adding 10% literally adds 10% to those numbers, and after a build-up of percentage, tougher enemies are added, like knights, wizards and ogres for a Hive setting) After all fireteam members are standing in the middle of the arena, the first wave begins... Depending on the kill you get, you get +X points to add to your stack. - - - For Hive - - - Thrall / Acolyte +1 Knight / Wizard +2 Ogre +3 And Ultra would drop a consumable item maybe, like a black wax idol, meant to add a x2 point multiplier for 5 minutes. - - - - - All players stand in the middle to kick off the next round. Next round has X% more enemies. (Oh, and by the way, no revives. You only have a grace period in between rounds, like a heroic raid) (A default run, on easy with a 3 person fireteam, would mean after about the third run, a couple of extra adds would be included along with a few tougher ranked enemies) And incrementally you start stacking points and points, and by the end you could have lets assume 158 points. For example of what I mean: For every 10 points until the next reward = 1 Uncommon For every 20 points... = 1 Rare For every 50 points... = 1 Legendary For every 150 points... = 1 Exotic (If you get 90 points, you get 1 legendary and 2 rares. 200 would be 1 exotic and 1 legendary. As you can see, the reward before the last one you could get, is cancelled out due to higher progress and does not collect) - In addition to this reward system, the loot drop rate would expectantly be reduced by 50%. So by the end you could be looking like this: Player 1: 72 kills ~ Reward: 1 Legendary and 1 Rare Player 2: 158 kills ~ Reward: 1 Exotic Player 3: 120 kills ~ Reward: 2 Legendaries (Leaving prematurely cancels out all points you gained) Haters hate and lovers love, but I think this would be worth a good $25-$30. There are a few rooms around the tower/reef that could use a new vendor, and there's some more activity that needs to be added to Destiny. I think THIS would be the BEST addition that this game could ever get, and I'm sorry- if a game other than destiny incorporated this, I'd drop destiny in a heart beat to go invest a solid 100+ hours a month into that game. I'm sorry if you got lost anywhere while reading this, if you're familiar with the Call of Duty: World at War mode, -godwinslaw!- zombies, think of it like that, but every so many rounds a tougher enemy or boss is included and by the end of it you're walking away with some sweet new gear.
