Legendary Edition 360 Audio SOLVED!!

Work-around
See my topic at above URL. I am having the same problem. Never had any issues before that. I think I may have fixed it yesterday, but unfortunately , that "fix" involves re-downloading all the Compatible Packs. I too still play off the detachable 20 gig HDD on an old arcade Box. You may want to transfer all other content to external thumb drive/HDD and reserve the "old" HDD exclusively for Destiny. This is what I did. When it's empty it should just about have enough space for the entire game install AND the Compatible Packs. Here's my "Fix": # Delete the entire game from your HDD if you have the game installed from the game disc, if it's the digital version just delete. # Delete ALL the compatibility packs. # DON'T delete the Vanguard weapons pack, TTK pack and other Destiny bonuses/licenses you may have. # After that clear your cache(aka perform maintenance on your HDD) , also check if there's nothing on your drive/thumb drive left except those bonuses. # Reinstall the game FIRST from disc if you want or re-download if you have the digital version. Wait until that is finished and you can start the game. # Start the game, it should either prompt for the Compatible Pack download or start it automatically. Wait until that finishes, depending on your internet connection this may take a loooong while. # When the game is done downloading/ installing and notifies you that you can start playing connect to the character(s) you have and go to the Tower. After doing this I test drove the game for half an hour and it ran fine. Played an old mission which didn't have sound before, now it was fine. This worked for me on the Xbox 360. I don't know if this will work for the other consoles though. I think the Compatible Packs got corrupted somehow with the TTK or create some sort of conflict. If this "fix" will hold I'll see tonight, but for now the game is back to normal.
I have purchased a Digital Legendary version of TTK to be able to play Destiny without a disc on my older 360. Now, for some reason, I have specific audio cues missing. At least character voices are present. No primary weapons have any sound at all (switching, reloading, and firing). Yet secondary weapons all sound off as normal. I have no footsteps or damage grunts, no sprinting cues (which is really annoying as a Titan with Shoulder Charge). This is also missing when I am in the Tower or the Reef. There are no sounds made by enemies, other than melee strikes. After a year of Destiny, this is disorienting to say the least. Using the menus in the character screen have no audio cues either; opening weapon and gear lists, switching items and quests. Dismantling does chime, but that is about it. All other games on that 360 are fine, the TV audio also functions as expected. I have deleted the cache on the main hard-drive and the USB drive, then power cycled the 360. This results in no change. My full download of the Legendary Edition install is on a USB drive, which is where the recent 2.0 patch was also downloaded to. I had no issues before 9/15. Please Help!

 • Does anyone know what the essential Destiny save data is on 360, if you have repurchased content via the Legendary Edition? I am wondering if having the disc installed previously on hard-drive, then buying a digital LE TTK which is installed to USB, has caused some type of conflict.
