Let us earn silver making the game more diverse and fun to play
Edit1: I'm not fully against micro transactions but I think it's a bit unfair that we have had to pay this much for DLC'S ( in comparison to other games ) then they throw in micro transactions...

Paying for emotes isn't the issue for me. I love that their are new emotes and think it is a great addition to the game. My issue is that we can only customize one emote slot. I feel if we are paying for the emotes we should have access to change each of the emote slots.

If they did that they could sell weapons as you could technically still earn them. That would be the definition of pay to win. Maybe think your ideas through.
-
No, the whole point of silver is so it can replace paying for DLCs. I'd rather have 2 emotes and free DLCs then have 11 emotes and have to pay $40 every 4 months for another DLC
-
For those who voted yes doesn't understand what would happen
-
I honestly believe if you think that we should be able to earn silver, you have missed the point of Eververse Trading. It's a micro-transaction based service that gives you the OPTION to purchase COSMETICS. If they stay true to their word, ET will be able to allow players to receive free dlc in the future. I don't think earning Silver would help with this idea. I'm not trying to start anything. Just remember that a game developer wouldn't implement micro-transactions if players didn't have purchase that cosmetic content. If that's the case, they could have just used the Legendary Mark. Cheers man! Sportio

I'm earning silver right now. In a couple minutes I'll have earned enough to buy another emote.
-
This is so stupid...
-
Once they make Silver an in-game earnable, nothing would be getting in their way from adding pay to win items (high/max light gear, more consumables, etc.) in the Eververse store. And they'd likely make it so you could earn as little as 100 silver a month or something. Or maybe something like Smite, daily reward of like 5 silver for logging in. I say it's fine as is for now since there's nothing but emotes for sale, and many of them don't even look that good.
-
They actually already have a quest for that out. Step 1: go get job, step 2: get paid, step 3: hand in money at psn store, and then you earn your silver.
-
How about no silver or bullshit micro transactions at all?
-
Yes. Traffic cones work hard to guide traffic. Don't we deserve silver?
-
Take it out of the game.
-
It needs to be VERY rare.
-
Who cares it's five dollars is too much money for anyone they should go pawn their Xbox now
-
Lol no

Edited by Kaoru: 10/15/2015 7:39:09 PMIt's called a micro transaction for a reason
-
Yes, we must have the option to gain a little bit of silver each week like really hard strike or something like this.
-
Make a monthly bounty that takes around 3 weeks to complete that rewards 100-200 silver
-
200 Legendary Marks = Shard Of Silver. In order to obtain 1 Silver, you must collect 5 of these shards.
like this it would take 200000 legendary marks to get 1 emote.
-
Why can't they just give my titan a job in the tower. I bet he can sweep better than those robots. They been sweeping the same spot for over a year. This is a way better idea than me spending real money
-
If they made silver earnable in game they should have never added it and just made the each emote cost 10k glimmer for the rare ones and 20k for the legendary ones.

Edited by P3SH_OFF: 10/15/2015 2:05:55 PMthis is the way to do it. its the way a lot of games, for instance, Minecraft got around the donations issue. Making the bought currency earn able at a much slower rate is defiantly a good way forward even if you could only earn 10 silver a week people would most likely still grind for it. and yes I'm sure a lot of people would be pissed if silver became a drop but then why not make it a reward for completing all dailies, the weekly, nightfall, raid, and doing all the bounties in a week. "well done you've ground the hell out of this game this week here have 10 silver" or something like that.
-
Microtrans are for cheaper DLC
-
Will a slow clap make you stronger and more capable? No. If you really want emotes then you can pay for them. That's how I see it.
-
U can, make real money and spend it on silver, just like how u earn food and other luxuries
-
Yeah, because silver is what I want to drop from doing a nightfall because the rewards are already so great as it is.
