Eventually they will sell weapons and gear, later there will be micro transactions only gear, then they will lower drop rates for higher level gear, and someday we will have to buy gear because ingame gear will be inferior. I'm calling it, I called the introduction of micro transactions a few months back, when they announced the digital bonuses on the collector's edition.

I agree. It's a slippery slope. It might be a while before we see it, but this is the first step on that path.

http://bfy.tw/28eC
Slippery slope arguments state that a relatively small first step leads to a chain of related events culminating in some significant effect.
Now, in the article, it also states that if a reasonable warrant can be provided, that the argument is not a Slippery Slope. Be that as it may, I do not believe that there is enough evidence for "Pay to Win" being incorporated in Destiny's Future. Without reasonable evidence, this is simply "fear mongering" meant to appeal to the Destiny community's fear. It's stoking the flames under Bungie for a problem which doesn't exist and will not likely ever exist. So can we agree that people paying money to bust a move in Destiny isn't worth getting emotionally distraught over?

Jet fuel doesn't melt steel beams.

Seriously duck everyone today
-
They will only ever sell skins for armor or weapons. They will NEVER sell gear itself.
-
Apparently they are using microtransactions to fund free DLC
-
This whole thing is screaming in my ear just like when it happened to defiance.
-
I'm calling it now, you're going to continue to be paranoid and make fallacious arguments

I don't see where people are getting this idea that Bungie will sell power....It is rather cynical, not to mention plenty of successful games utilize a similar system and sell things that are merely cosmetic. How about we just keep our traps shut and see where it goes before burning them at the stake. Additionally, those games that DID sell power, did not last long. Which leads me to believe Bungie is smarter than that.

This is all rampant speculation on zero proof and massive anal contusions
-
They are not allowed to sell anything that is not obtainable in game that has any vital function. Therefore, it would be illegal for them to sell any weapon or armor that makes the raid insta easy without a way in game to obtain the in game currency or item itself.

It's time to quit destiny

Bull shit

Nope. If you disagree then show me proof they will.

It's only for emotes and will also be emotes and shaders the minute they will never sell guns or gear cuz that will simply break this game even more it will never happen
-
What's been going on with all this micro transaction stuff? Have I missed something?
-
Well we will have to see
