Can You Get Past 300 Level And Never Touch The Raid?
I'm curious if it's possible to get up to at least 300 light without doing the raid. I'm at 295 on my hunter and the highest blue I have ever gotten was a 298. Strikes always give either lower light or equal light gear and exotics are still dropping at 290 as well so that's no good. If anyone has tips or suggestions I'd highly appreciate it. Would rather not do the raid yet and if I get past 300 light there will be chances of getting 310 exotics. Thus increasing my level.

I got to 297 pre-Raid so im fairly sure that you can, just extremely hard to.

Yes. It is possible to get 300 light legendaries dropped from strikes. Then there's the Black Spindle debacle and a 310 light exotic sword. It is very much possible, just not at all easy

9 RepliesIm 301 and 2 of my clan members r 304 and 305 and we avent done the raid yet wer helpin other clan members level up guess wer just extremely blessed by rng but yeah its possible :)

Black spindle is 310 And with all 298 and a 300 exotic armor maybe just barely 300

Edited by Pastuleo23: 9/29/2015 12:57:27 PMget 298 blues, do the exotic sword quest (310). the 300 artifact quest, and do the spindle mission (310 exotic) and you should be at max, 301. If you infuse one of the exotics. Then you use 3 of coins to drop 310 exotics that you infuse with your legendarys and get to 306. Because the exotic engrams don't drop heavy or boots and you can't get a 310 artifact or ghost

Yes. Exotics can drop at 310, exotic sword quest for a 310 heavy, over a long time you can be over 300, not by much though

I was 298 before I touched the raid and then I got my gauntlets and now I'm 299

Yes. You need a combination of ridiculous luck and the exotic sword/Black Spindle if you got one.

Black spindle infused for 308 special 310 sword from quest 300 artifact from quest 4 pieces at 297 3 pieces at 298 300!!

Eventually, yeah. I've gotten 300 blue engrams from strikes. It's very rare, but it happens.
