So this is an updated version of my previous topic 'Velociraptor Exotic auto rifle fan fiction'. This version contains some ideas added on by others who commented on my previous post so i give a shoutout to them even if this topic does not become a huge hit. This is an idea i had for an exotic auto rifle called the velociraptor, please leave comments/ ideas for this gun to improve in hope that this will become an actual weapon! Velociraptor: Exotic auto rifle, from the Crota's bane faction. This weapon is similar to the style of bad juju in the way that it's origin is hive but in the form of a one handed machine gun such as an UZI. The Exotic perk on this weapon is extremely unique as it is that this weapons perks are boosted when more than one person in the fire-team is using it. An example of this is below 1 Player with velociraptor Rate of fire= 75 Impact= 5 Range= 15 Stability= 5 Reload= 75 2 Players with Velociraptor Rate of fire= 80 Impact= 7 Range= 20 Stability= 5 Reload= 80 3 players Rate of fire= 85 Impact= 9 Range= 30 Stability= 6 Reload= 85 4 players Rate of fire= 90 Impact= 15 Range= 32 Stability= 10 Reload= 90 5 players Rate of fire= 95 Impact= 20 Range= 38 Stability= 15 Reload= 95 Full raid team of Raptors Rate of fire= 100 Impact= 30 Range= 40 Stability= 30 Reload= 100 Magazine size= 42 These stats are just a template as the professional team at bungie adjust the stats on a weapon so that it is not too overpowered on not too strong in a certain area so that the weapon becomes hated in the crucible. The Description of is weapon will be as followed Alone a raptor is small, outnumbered, unable to survive. Yet the raptor is not alone, it has a pack, a tribe. It is this team that let the raptor rise to it's true potential, to slaughter, to survive. The secondary perk of this weapon could be that the bottom half of this weapons magazine deals extra damage. The third perk of this weapon could be firefly yet this can be customised A special perk for this weapon will be This weapon deals additional damage to hive and taken enemies Scopes options offer 1. This radar stays up whilst aiming this weapon 2. Aiming this weapon will highlight any targets in sight 3. This weapons bullets will ricochet when aiming this weapon Secondary options are 1. shots will explode within a close proximity to the target if missed 2. Gain plus 20 range 3. Increase the magazine size to 50 This weapon would fire void projectiles as there is a serious lack of void exotics! The quest line for this weapon goes as follows You can obtain this quest after reaching Crota's bane rank 5 Step 1: Prove you are worthy of handling this weapon by getting kills with the bad juju in the crucible and by killing Yellow health hive knights in PvE. 25 are needed in crucible. 10 Major knights Step 2: Talk to Eris Morn, Step 3: Obtain materials to make the weapon, Collect 50 Hive shards by killing Hive knights, Wizards or Ogres Step 4: Speak to Eris Morn, collect empty auto rifle shell Step 5: Purchase Jurassic rune from Xur at the cost of 5 strange coins and 1 exotic shard Step 6: Infuse the empty auto rifle shell with the Jurassic rune Step 7: Enchant the weapon by killing Omnigul, Phogoth, Crota and the darkblade on any difficultly Step 8: Infuse the Enchanted auto rifle shell with 5 rare or legendary auto rifles Step 9: Speak to Banshee 44 Step 10: Speak to Eris morn and collect The velociraptor.
