Guardians, I'm a yr1 player and did the grind in September for lvl30 VoG gear and then etheric light & PoE in the summer for HoW. While not trying to bash the game (its still my #1 sci-fi shooter at the moment), yr1 was a big grind for me. The fun factor wasn't always apparent but the grind was. I picked up TTK late, played for a couple days and am curious of others' opinions - is the grind gone? My characters are barely unlocked (3rd subclass), I'm broke as $hit (lacking leg marks), and nowhere even close to raiding (barely cracked the heroic strike playlist). But for the first time I really don't care because I'm having old-fashioned fun while playing all the quests & content, even with basic gear. Do others feel the same? That need for the grind is gone and it's about old-fashioned fun/farming in TTK? Or am I still in the honeymoon phase?
