Why was the Point emote slot used for the new dance?
Not to say that the pointing was terribly useful but wouldn't it make more sense to be able to replace the original dance with the new one?
What's the logic behind it using the point slot?

Because it's mostly new players or year 2 players (or year 1 suckers who gave bungie more cash) Hence year 1 players get to point out all the shit these noobs may have missed. So we point out the goods, and they dance like idiots :)

2 RepliesI agree with this observation, they likely didn't want to put a whole lot of effort into installing so many new emotes, as of right now only 12 seem to be planned at the moment.
