Year Two Exotic - Only 160 Light

Hello community. Question: I received a year two exotic , the Monte Carlo. Received it on day one. But the light is only 160?!?!? WTF MAN?!?! I though year two exotics were supposed to already be a higher light level.... What gives? Is it a glitch? Thanks.

That is a year one MC. Year two starts at 280. Make a year two from the blueprint kiosk.
