Dear Bungie, You couldn't balance a cup on a table.

[/u] Your problem is,[b] [u]instead of bringing everything up to an acceptable level, you NERF everything to shit tier so that it's useless and no one can have fun with it anymore. OP Weapon Balancing.[u] If everything is equally OP, suddenly its a shit ton of fun, and guess what, no one is complaining because everything they use is just as awesome as the last thing they used.[/u] [b]You are aware games have to be fun for people to enjoy playing them?[/b] Lets point out of the obvious "Balancing Fixes" [b]Ice Breaker's Charge time:[/b] WHO THE -blam!- WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS!?!?! [b]Field Scout is now reserved ammo instead of clip:[/b] Everyone Universally agrees this is now a Useless perk on a weapon. [b]Extended Mags Reduced by 33%:[/b] The point of an Extended Mag...You know what never mind, I'll just buy you a dictionary. [b]Shotgun PVE Damage reduced by 45% :[/b] ...Wut...? Yea shotguns needed nerfed in PVE, but halfed? HALFED? Do you actually test your patches before hand? They are useless now. They are supposed to DESTROY up close....not require 3 to 4 shots. You do not get the concept of weapon ballistics... Edit: ([b]There have been reports, And i have even witnessed Sniper Damage Fall off. Let me repeat that, SNIPER DAMAGE FALL OFF. The Longest ranged weapon in the game has a point at which it begins damage falloff and will no longer kill with a headshot[/b]...What are you even doing Bungie?) [u][b]Blink, shorter, Longer Weapon Readiness Period, and easier to track:[/b][/u] Ok...first off, Blink takes some practice to master, and being a master of it can be rewarding in PVP, because the teleport is momentum based in terms of what direction you go. Now? what's the point to it? [u]Sure let me track this player insanely easily to where he just blinked, Because he is now a free kill. [/u]It takes too long for him to get his weapon out, he is screwed, that is FACT. And blink was not difficult to play against. Anyone with eyes and decent movement skills could easily kill someone using blink.[b]This nerf was COMPLETELY unnecessary. [/b] Edit: [i](Many feel a Blink nerf was nessecary, but agree that the nerf you gave it was far to severe. Adding the trail alone for simple tracking would have been enough. Also Corrective nerfing on shotguns would have fixed it as well. Your PVP nerf on shotguns is mehhh at best. A 20% overall range nerf to shotguns would do wonders! Inside that range, they should be consistantly one-shotting.) [/i] [u]And there are dozens of more changes you completely screwed up.[/u] [b]For Instance:[/b] Did hand cannons need nerfed? Yes, only slightly though. Not the ass spanking you gave them, so that no one wants to use them. What you could have done would be buff Autorifles and Scout Rifles to be competitive with their damage, or created a middle ground for them to meet in. Edit: [i](Most agree a simple overall range nerf to hand cannons would have been enough, with falloff damage starting closer to you. This would prevent across the map sniping with Hand Cannons and make them mid to close range weapons. Leaving in the Zoom when you ADS would also be effective in this type of nerf because these weapons would be close to mid range. The Zoom would reduce field of View and at a close to mid range distance you need as much field of view as your eyes can handle.)[/i] But Nope. Once again they are out of Balance. Autorifles, and a few Pulse rifles are back to being the only thing used.[b] I have yet to be killed by Thorn and thats a shame. [/b]Thorn did need nerfed. The Poison nerf was probably all that it needed, but i have yet to be killed by Thorn since 2.0 It's an EXOTIC!!! We worked to get it and you made it useless. You have Mythoclast pretty well Balanced, why could you not do the same to Thorn? [b]Yes it should be kinda OP[/b], its an exotic. Same with Last Word. Now they are useless. Why? Edit: [i](Still yet to die to Thorn on Last Word. I'll let you know when i finally have. 9/11/2015)[/i] And further more Quest/Raid Exotics. We worked really hard for some of these. NecroChasm for instance. And we don't get to bring that to year 2? But The Last Word? ThunderLord? Suros? Random dropped exotics that are RNG based? Yea Bring those, cause -blam!- the hard work you did for that Raid/Quest Exotic. [u][b]What you did do right tho, you did really right. [/b][/u] Autorifles feel decent again, Except the damage drop off is STUPID severe. Why? A mild drop off increase and a 2% to 3% damage buff would have sufficed for it. The New Maps: Some of the BEST design you've had in a long time. Better than some of your Halo Days. (which was most defiantly your prime.) There are endless painful "fixes" you've done that have broken so much for NO REASON. If it Ain't broke, don't fix it. If we aren't complaining about it, it's not broke, we are happy where its at. And if someone was complaining about Ice Breaker or Field Scout being OP, it was 1 Person. Ignore him. If something becomes a problem, TRUST US, WE'LL LET YOU KNOW! [b]And if you think Content is too easy for us and we are blasting past it, DESIGN HARDER CONTENT! [/b]Yes, there are many of us that would like a challenge. [u]Crota, a joke, PoE can occasionally be difficult if you get bad modifiers. VoG? The only thing that requires Mechanic Execution that punishes you if you don't get it right, and guess what, VoG is generally the more liked Raid/End Game content.[/u] So yea, we can handle harder content. We like the challenge. You don't give your community enough credit. Stop nerfing left and right as a solution and think, because i know at one point this development team had a brain. Please find it again. Edit: ([b] [u]Some think i want this to be a Call of Duty Shooter. No. NONONO.[/u] [/b]I started FPS's with Halo, i love the long term Tactical Battles, the ability to turn on an opponent and still be able to beat them. There are many things in this patch that i feel are just 20% to 30% out of balance from what they should be. I don't like Thorn being a 3 hit kill, or TLW being a 3 hit kill either. Messenger and Hopscotch Pilgrim, and Red Death being a 2 Burst is too fast IMO. In short Range Hand Cannon Kill time still is great, but the overall range and accuracy of Hand Cannons has been completely destroyed. They should at least be Accurate up to a mid range., but with a longer kill time. [b][u]My complaints in the nerfing are mostly at how laughable they have made fall off damage and overall accuracy, especially with how heavy handed the Auto-Aim is in Destiny.[/u][/b] (which i hate the Auto-aim btw) Pulse Rifles definitely seem to be Top Dog in the Meta now for Overall Usage as they are great at all ranges. ) [b][u]If you have anything else to add that you feel is ridiculous that Bungie has done, please leave it in the Comments and I'll amend this.[/u][/b] Comments; Dizz Ace 101: "[i]The frustrating concept is that Bungie is trying to dictate how we should play the game instead of letting us choose."[/i] [u][i][b](XBAMNX appearently got a refund.
