First off, im a huge fan of everything you've done on destiny, and im a major PVE gamer. I love how many new friends I've made since Destiny has come out, but there's always been 1 major barrier to making many more. I constantly find myself running the same bounties or playing the same missions as others in public areas, but it's nowhere near simple to join them or have them join me. In order to even speak to them, I have to stop what I'm doing, go to the menu and find their name, go to their gamer profile and wait for it load up, then I can send them a parry invite. By this time, they're normally gone, or else don't know who I am or what I want so they don't accept. Typing messages takes even longer, but at least you can convey your message better on what you'd like to run together. If they accept your invitation to join you, they then have to return to orbit, then re-enter your game so they can continue on with you. I've met some of my best PVE friends this way, but there HAD to be an easier way. If there was a way to type or say messages publicly where even just the people directly around you could hear/read it, it'd be such a huge help. It would also help a ton on scouting out that extra raid member from randoms on the tower without having to load up destinytracker. Obviously being able to join the game of someone nearby without having to return to orbit would be awesome too, but I know "you can't have it all", so I'm just asking for advanced communications.
