I remember my first day on destiny. I wasn't particularly sure what to expect. After getting out into the patrol area I began doing patrol missions, not knowing they were essentially useless . 2 hours I spent doing them thinking," is this the game I just bought? What the hell is the point of doing these missions" . I didn't really understand what to do until I started building fireteams and doing activities such as strikes. I remember doing my first ever strike being phogoth and it taking 2 hours. And that was with some random people that are on my friends list to this day. Then we finally got around to attempting VoG on normal mode. Oh god the horror. 12 hours. 12 hours guys. We had no idea what was going on. But when we beat atheon we released screams that shattered windows and (nearly) cried tears of joy. It was the most amazing feeling. This is why I love destiny. The experience was like no other. It may lack story, but I don't give a flying dreg. I love this game. It has built a special place in my soul. Feel free to share your stories and favorite moments and opinions.
