In this day and age of graphics, which game engine you think gives the most detail and works the best? My favorite has to be the FOX engine from Metal Gear Sold. Some of the best graphics to date and it flawlessly runs 1080p 60fps and the detail is just great. What are yours?

No unreal or frostbite? OP is irrelevant.
-
Unreal!

As good a s mgsv looks, the game dosent really push the engine. Most of the terrain is barren. Not a whole lot stuff to render.

Doesn't even include the best engine = moron
-
whatever engine Bloodborne uses
-
Whatever Alien Isolation uses.

Unreal 4 or Frostbite 4. Unreal 4 foundation for Borderlands 2 and Frostbite 4 is the foundation for Battlefield 4. Both of which look beautiful on their respective engines. It also helps to have killer AA, dynamic lighting, and Nvidia PhysX. Battlefield 4's lens flares on ultra are enough to make JJ Abrams shed a tear.

I loved Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2(?) engine. Looked so crisp.

The cry engine is nice but the unreal engine isn't named that for nothing. It's amazing

Love the game or hate the game, destiny looks awesome

RAGE (Rockstar's Advanced Game Engine) and Unreal. love or hate it, there's no denying GTA 5 looks amazing.

So you mention a proprietary engine for Far Cry, but omit the Unreal Engine, Unity, id Tech, and Source?
