New Iron Banner Bounties
How about some new Iron Banner bounties, for example...
Shield of Iron-- "Stand together Guardians"....Defend 10 players. Standard 100 and 5k rewards.
Apex Predators (or maybe War Party)-- "Show them what a hunting party can really do"....Win 5 Matches in a row, must have fire team of at least 3 people... get 200 rep and 10000 xp
Iron Primary -- "True warriors only need one weapon"....Get 15 kills using only primary weapons. Kills with ANY other weapon type resets your progress, including heavy. Rep =150 xp = 6500
Iron Fist -- Get 15 melee kills etc (same as Iron Primary)
Iron Statute-- "Stand tall Guardian, forever"....Earn "The Best Around" medal 5 times rep=100 xp=5000
I realize you are changing the way xp works with TTK and since I don't know that system yet I've used the current xp and rep values for reference examples.

1 ReplyI can see Apex Predators and Shield of Iron, but with how they're changing bounties in TTK I dont think the others belong. They want us to be able to complete our bounties just playing the game. They wouldnt make a bounty where you couldnt use anything but your melee for potentially 5+ games. I like the others though

1 ReplyI don't know about setting party size requirements. Once again you're locking out casual players who don't have a regular team. It's just not good for the entire community. And some of these specifications are really high; it already takes quite a long time to complete most of these bounties for most players. Replacing the current ones wouldn't suit me. But if these were additional to the IB Bounties available every day, then I think it would be a good thing. Skilled players can avoid being asked to grind so much. But if we expected the casuals to pull these Bounties off consistently, I think you'd be asking too much. IB shouldn't be that bad of a grind every month. I think it's asking a little much.

1 ReplyI like some of these ideas. It kinda makes me wonder if when Bungie is coming up with stuff for patrols and bounties, they start with a number and just stop when they get to it. I mean, it doesn't exactly take a genius to come up with new patrol objectives and new bounty ideas... It's like they came up with enough (barely) and then just quit.

1 ReplyThis was my first Iron Banner and I thought it was pretty fun. That said, there should definitely be more bounties then get 15 control points, kill 10 people without dying, and earn 10,000 EXP. Suggestions 1) Earn the Highest KD on your team 5 times (Good for a Clash Iron Banner) 2) Shutdown 10 killstreaks 3) Deal the final blow 5 times 4) Kill 30 players without dying (Yes, it can be done. Yes, it was traumatizing to be a part of) 5) Kill 10 enemies using weapons forged by the Lord of Iron

3 RepliesI am not knocking your idea and I agree that tossing in some new bounties would be nice or at least bringing back ones they used to rotate in would freshen things up, but what's the difference? The event is once a month and besides the machine gun spree one sometimes being a tedious mess, I don't even care. I just see them as a way to rank up faster so I can either do the next character or be done with the event and get back to the rest of the game.

How about they actually rotate? If not from day to day, then at least from event to event?? (But these are good too. Just venting a little.)

4 RepliesI like the idea of new/more bounties and variation. But all should be doable with matchmaking. without going into a game with an own fireteam. I know destinylfg,... can help in this. but still should be doable for all players without 3rd party tools/websites.
