For some perspective - what's it cost?

I've seen a lot of back-and-forth on the forums about the "high" price point of TTK. In a discussion about why it's necessary for those not purchasing TTK to still download and install 18GB worth of patch, it was posited that y'all over at Bungie should easily be able to afford separate servers for those with and without TTK. To give some perspective to those who have never run a data center, or been exposed to the concepts of P&L, balance sheets, and COGS, I'd like to ask you for some ballpark figures on what it costs y'all to run the Destiny servers. For simplicity, let's not even get into the whole thing about paying the salaries of the developers and IT guys and testers and all the other staff - strictly hardware: What's it cost to set up the Destiny servers? How many tens/hundreds/thousands of thousands of dollars of hardware does it take to wake the Speaker up, and get the Destiny world rolling? And what about juice? Can't be cheap to power a server farm and keep it cool. What's the Destiny server farm's electric bill for, say, (just to keep it something that most people can relate to) a month? I think, just maybe, if more players understood just a little bit more about what it takes to run a highly complex system like Destiny, they'd be a bit more appreciative of just how affordable the price point is ...
