Stopped playing crucible and game altogether. Although Lag switches are not always the case, due to host based BS system. I'd say shooting anyone with party crasher (maxed) definitely sounds like lag switch. For a complete year I along with the rest of you year one players waited for Bungie to pop some cash on dedicated servers (never happened). I found a few things that you can try to better your game play, since Bungie refuses to change the basics needed. There IS ALWAYS lag bias one way (team wise) or the other. No match is equal. Find out what TV you are using and there is a lag time for each individual TV. Most 50 inch and below usually the best (gaming monitors are the elite for best lag time). Let me explain, it is time it takes your actions from the control to relay and complete the action on TV. Basically the lower lag time TV will give you the fastest reaction in real game time on TV. There is ALWAYS a delay :/ I started to read into it and it does play a big part in your KD and true gameplay. Even if God willing Bungie decides to properly implement dedicated servers, the person with the lowest lag time TV and/or monitor will have an advantage how ever so slight. In some cases it's major :) over their competitors. As for you and your husbands case, it severely sounds like lag switching :/ with that being said anyone who believe that the game isn't massed with lag switches, your in denial. There are hundreds of videos proving this and with switches being cheaper than an expansion of Destiny, I've have seen more and more of them :/ i.e. Trials. To show you just how cheap they are http://www.bestlag.com I for one loved the game (and just yesterday decided to cancel TTK) and it sadden me that our enjoyment is taken away from host based gameplay and cheaters. Until there is stability I've stepped down from my beloved daily Destiny ritual. I hope one day to return, as I really have waited (since day 1) for the potential (the game really has, no doubts about it) that this whole community has waited for. It has got to the stage that I have turned the thing off, 2 team wins in ( i think,) 20 or so matches, shows that something is far far wrong with this PVP stuff and other than my continual clicking of the report button something needs to be done by Bungie to combat this form of cheating.
