You know what really grinds my gears?
ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the guns in the game... and I mean all... why is it that everyone uses thorn? It's so cheap and boring. There's no skill to it. I can't tell you how many times people message me telling me how good they are and how much they're better than me but all they use is thorn.... it's like the ump on modern warfare 2... except hand canon version. Probably sounds like I'm mad because I don't have one or I'm crying because I keep dying by it. This isn't that.. (I have three, I've come to terms that everyone uses it for some reason) I just want to know where's the fun in that? I've gotten 36 kills with a pulse rifle before and an auto rifle, it was way more fun using those tbh

1 ReplyPartly because all anyone ever talks about is how overpowered Thorn is, so naturally anyone that doesn't know Crucible and feels like they need an advantage will gravitate towards it. It's good (and annoying, don't get me wrong) but sometimes I read posts on here that make it seem like it's unbeatable and it really isn't.

Thorn is an evil weapon of darkness that corrupts the light of the one who weilds it, so the Grimoire reads. It is this self absorption, self obsession of superiority which I have identified as the corruption of one's own light that the Grimoire warns us about. Think deeply about it. The loss of respect for other Guardians is exactly how Dredgen Yor succumbed to Thorn's darkness.
