Edited by Matt Boy52: 9/2/2015 2:25:58 PMI say Gunslinger because you got to make your GG shots count, your super makes a loud sound upon activation so nearly everyone knows about it and consequently can shut you down before you can use it, and will have to restart the super recharge on respawn. And it can sometimes be hard as Hell hitting other people with throwing knifes from a considerable distance, even with 2 of them. And the tripmine grenades, well...
Death by misadventure :P
Whoa! Ppl think Defender is the hardest to use?!! :O That's my main comfort zone subclass haha. I find Gunslinger and Voidlock to be the hardest to use because of mo survivability. All the other subclasses get shields or invis or health regen. This poll really surprised me!
-
Dam u str8 babygurl
-
Keep in mind the hardest subclass, not just super. Defender has lowest range melee, the worst grenades, and the easiest super to counter. I don't know how this is even a debate.
-
How is bubble winning this??? At least with the other supers you kinda have to aim-ish bubble??? You just stand there
-
It's a hard question to answer without knowing if you are asking about PVP or PVE. PVE - I would probably have to say Bladedancer or Gunslinger. They probably have the least amount of orb generating potential. And only Bladedancer's invisibility gives any kind of support role to a fireteam. Nighthawk kind of made Gunslinger a little more helpful. PVP - Defender Titan is probably the toughest to play. Other then in control capturing a zone where else is that super useful in PVP? Their melees aren't very good for PVP, and they have no real perks that help in PVP.
-
Defender is just crap (in pvp )
-
Lmfao, gunslinger and bladedancer XD
-
Really. Bladedancer and Gunslinger? lol, okay
-
Sunsinger Warlock. Simply because its super is the least intuitive to use...and requires a LOT of creativity to get the most out of. Defenders aren't hard to use, you just have to accept their role as a support class.
-
For those surprised seeing defender highest ranked, just think its not all about supers, they always have their uses and the defender is super is nicely exploitable. But take that out of the comparison for a moment (because lets face it, youll be playing without a super 95% of the gametime or so), whats left? Crappy melee, an overshield that always loses to sunsingers, mediocre grenades... At least a striker can compensate for their crappy melee with shouldercharge, has an easy super and powerful grenades. You should mainly compare them witout super, because thats how youll be playing most of the time (and in that time, you need the kills to even get to that super).

Defender: Grenades aren't amazing, magnetic grenade has the least magnetism of all sticky grenades (funny how that works), spike grenade doesn't last long, and requires people to stand directly in it in order to do significant damage. Suppressor grenade is great, but constantly glitches against bladedancers. Also, it has a bounce that requires a bit getting used to. Melee is.... Well there's a reason they're called "t-rex Titans". The shield from force barrier is weaker than flame shield, requires a kill to activate, and only lasts 1 seconds longer (bungie plz). The extra perks are pretty situational, as all require force barrier to actually activate, which doesn't happen as often as you might think. Ward of dawn doesn't give any free kills to you, excluding those strange people who walk in and try to win a melee battle with you. Also, WoD requires map knowledge in order to place it in the highest traffic spots, for the most potential kills, meaning map knowledge and gun skill are absolutely necessary for an effective bubble bro.

Definitely all three of the new TTK subclasses are currently tied for most difficult. They're impossible for me to use, the damn game won't even let me switch to them!
-
Looks like Stormcaller is the hardest to use.
-
Talking kill potential, defender. Talking PVE usefulness, Gunslinger.
-
How to use Defender in PvP: - Choose Weapons of Light - Equip Icebreaker - Charge up your Super - Laugh maniacally while one-shotting people with Icebreaker. - By the time your Ward of Dawn runs out, you should have another one charged up - Profit!
-
Defender + PvP = Sad face.

Edited by Doc: 9/2/2015 4:27:31 PMI love using Defender in crucible, no super is necessarily hard to use by any means, however the Defender probably has the biggest weakness.
-
Why is there no option for none
-
This is an argument about the entire sub class make sure you're not just thinking about supers because the defender still gets the shit end of the stick
-
none. TF?!
-
Lol people pick defender. You can literally fly across maps with Titans even faster then hunters
-
I have all maxed except my bladedancer, it's super is pretty shitty in pve and is mostly only good for going invisible, other than that there is nothing special about it to me
-
Edited by Xuh: 9/2/2015 3:00:11 PMMan it's hard to place bubbles! ._.
Im talking about PvE.
-
Gunslinger.
