The fleet responsible for breaching the archive hasn't been found, and Tana doesn't know what to expect. the archive inside was an enormous structure of unknown metal and glass, but appeared completely abandoned. Little did Tana know the archive itself was alive, and started picking off her fleet of Cabal one by one. Tana and her dwindling fleet were forced deep into the center of the archive, where they finally came face-to-face with an enormous Harpy covered in ornate glass spikes. Watching her best Centurion wiped from existence by this Vex mind, Tana-Thoris was forced to tinker with the internal workings of the massive archive. She soon realized she was able to manipulate parts of the Mind, forcing it to attack itself. Fighting off hallucinations from the vex cells, Tana forced the Mind to rip out its own eye, thus ripping its body to shreds. Then she took the eye and several parts of its internal workings and fused them with her slug rifle to create a powerful hybrid weapon. She used this weapon to fight her way through vex reinforcements before finally escaping the archive. Tana's men were all gone, but she now had a piece of a vex mind. The Valus allowed her to continue using her new weapon, provided she would study it and record whatever she discovered. Tana found that the parts of the vex mind were still alive, and it seemed to actually HELP her in combat. Perhaps the mind realized the plight of the Cabal and changed sides, or is simply waiting to strike down the one who destroyed its body...
