Playing titan takes most skill
Making this post just to remind idiots that titans are always screwed over by this game. Titan takes by far the most skill of any class in Destiny, it's honestly not even a question. Now I expect a bunch of people who main hunters and warlocks to give dumb accusations for reasons why I'm wrong; such as "Fist of Havoc" or "Shoulder Charge". The people who claim these are advantages as a titan don't actually play on a Titan.
I've mained a Titan since Day One and up until the release of house of wolves never made a second class. After about a week of using a hunter....with only gunslinger I realized how much easier playing hunter is. Once I got to bladedance....forget about it. I'm a sniper so I rarely ever blink shotgun, but when I do you can bet I get 15-20 more kills than deaths easy. I mean blink allows someone who can go from 20 feet with a shotgun to 3 feet away and shoot you mid air for a kill. Let me just explain how a titan can handle this situation. THEY CANT. And I will explain why shoulder charge doesn't work, this happens to me sometimes, I will shoulder charge to close the gap but this animation is long and puts your gun down so by the time the animation is over I'm dead. The only other option I have is to actually be tactical and outsmart the opposition.
Don't even get me started on things like the ram, RANGED MELEE's for the other classes, and supers that you can run around with for even more proof that titans are the hardest pvp class to master. Also if you have noticed all of the top tier pvp players in this game are warlocks and hunters for a reason. Do me a favor warlocks and hunters get off your high horse and admit to your advantages. I admit that titans have an awesome super in first of havoc as it is great to counter other supers....aka self res and bladedance. I will also admit that lightning grenades are extremely powerful but it does take TWO pulses to get a kill you can simply just get out of the way, we have a third of the op things you guys have. I'm sure all my fellow titans will agree, I mean I could go on longer about it but I'll stop now.
Edit: Also name one useful PvP exotic for a titan outside of Armamentarium.
Edit #2: i linked my account for some of you to "judge my stats". Also for those of you saying peregrines are a useful exotic dont play as a titan, YOU HAVE TO BE IN MID AIR, do you know how niche that is. One last thing the defender can be useful but can be supered very easily plus the grenades have some bugs to them which have been made evident by posts on these forums.

1 ReplyI think the classes are pretty equal. It's all play style.. Just because Titans don't get blink or golden gun doesn't mean they are hardest to master. I play a fair amount of crucible and Titans wreck to be honest.. So enough whining and start enjoying the class that you pick.

That would do Titans a bit more justice. If it acted as a spring and you could do it twice before falling, it would in my opinion be the change Titans needed to put them on the mark.

I get more kills when i play as my titan...they are very easy to play. Especially as a run and gunner. I ahave played games on my hunter where i was playing tactically and was about to go unbroken then all the sudden rko knee to the face from nowhere then 2 back to back tslams. Titan is easy and cheap. Hunters require practice and thought. I run gunslimger and not bd btw.

1 Replymk stand asides helm of saint 14 crest of alpha lupi feedback gauntlets Helm of inmost light plus the peregrine greaves are good for trials...you can one shot shoulder charge revives(over shield) in the air The Titan is awesome and the fastest class in the game...no blink needed. The titan can out run a blade dancer easy and the striker class is it's worse enemy.

Tiana are too easy and boring to play, so I don't like to do it. I only used my titan because people always want them for end game pve.

Actually my Titan has the highest K/d in the Cru out of all my Characters. Don't know why but he is fun to use in the Cru! Epically when I see a blade dancer coming my way

5 RepliesActually you can shoulder charge under them while they are in blink and then turn around and shoot their little ass. Titans take the least skill in this game. Striker: Fist of panic Simple smash super that's unkillable and can be used as complete panic button Shoulder charge- you were complaining about not having a ranged Melee... Yet you have a very quickly recharging, very long range, super fast, one hit kill, shoulder charge... Just quiet yourself on this one. Lightning grenades, like trip mine grenades, not hard to use but very good, exept they are way better than trip mine grenades cause they still kill just as fast and they do damage till they run out, so they can kill many more targets. Flash bang grenades, you can disorient everyone on a control point and easily clean up. This is a really simple to use subclass that can be effective even for a beginning player For pvp defender does actually take some skill to use there's no denying that. But it is still pretty simple. Find a control point and pop a bubble on it. The reason defender needs more skill is because you don't really get kills off of your super so you need more kills otherwise to make up for it. It has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SUBCLASSES BEING HARD TO USE ITS JUST BC THEY ARENT ROAMING SUPERS WHICH CAN LIMIT HOW MANY KILLS THEY CAN GET. So to be successful in crucible-yes as a Titan DEFENDER TITAN you will need more skill because your super doesn't really get you kills But a striker Titan has no love loss from me... That subclass is fun to use but if you say it requires tons of skill your headstrong on your point and you won't see reason

1 ReplyI would agree in general. This was also supported by a poll I saw not too long ago in which most responders agreed. I normally main gunslinger. Although you get more health as a Titan, your super is much more situational and it's easier to choke. Now that warlocks with ram get more health in addition to their already superior melees and choice of self-revive or ranged super, I think Titan is the hardest class to dominate with in Crucible.

2 RepliesOmg I'm so sick of these posts. NY good player should recognize the strengths and weaknesses of each class and choose their gameplay accordingly. You're not forced to use one class over another, just pick the one that suits you.

About all classes take the same amount of skill, warlocks can bring themselves back to life, Titans can't die to begin with, and hunters can't really be seen to be shot.

i think titans are easier and i play both my guys (hunter and titan) equally. Probs cos im not a blink shotgunning bitch and i just use hopscotch all the time. also the titan stand asides are good for pvp.

10 RepliesI find warlocks are. My friend loves titans but he thinks warlocks are pretty good when he said only titans were. You can get killed easy while using nova bomb and radiance. As soon as I self ress everyone either shotguns me and I can't do anything or a pansie titan fists of panics me cause he can't legitimately kill me.

1 ReplyYuuuup. It's so much easier to play hunter than Titan. I consistently get a better k/d and 3 or 4 kills with bladedance and I [i]rarely[/i] get that many with FoH. I just save it to shut down other supers. "FoH is so scrubby you just use it cuz ur scared and don't want to die" to that I say shush. Why use blink then? Is it because it's easy to avoid attacks with it? And like I haven't seen hunters activate BD in a corner or warlocks nova bomb in a panic. "But it's so easy to kill someone in BD". Do you know the ratio of me killing someone in BD(without using my super) and me being killed by someone using it? Id say 1/20, if that. It's surprisingly easier for them to kill me. Weird
