Hello Destiny community: So I think I came up with an interesting item idea for Destiny and want to know what the rest of the community thinks and if you hope to bring more attention to it. So here it goes. Essentially Bungie grants you a special engram, however, you personally can't use it, you're only allowed to give it to another player who has helped you with a task. Once the other player has been gifted it, they are allowed to use it and get the rewards for it (exotics or legendary). The goal for this is to have players help each other, whether it be for a quest, raids, or trials etc. there seem to be a lot of people who want/need help in tasks and this can be a way for rewarding the people that help out these players. It could be like you get one of these engrams a week or three a month or whatever Bungie decides. And if you're in the mood to farm for exotics or a specific legendary you can do so by helping others. The helpful player gets the reward while the one that was helped achieves their goal. It would kind of force people to be more friendly and help each other out. Ultimately, bringing this awesome community closer. There's obvious things that would need clarification and details that would be worked out. Making sure people don't get screwed over, limiting the amount of times you can help someone, stuff like that, but Bungie can work that out. The idea here is giving an in game reward for helping others (and the reward should be worthwhile, exotics would be nice). Let me know what you think! A Bungie reply would be awesome..
