New titan helmet "Empyrean Bellicose" actually good? Possibly even great?

So Xur showed us some cool new exotic armor the other day. One of those fancy looking new armor pieces was a titan helmet called the Empyrean Bellicose. For those of you that don't know, the perks on this exotic helmet are these: Holding down L2 while in the air will allow you to hover briefly (basically the angel of light perk from warlocks), and the second perk is that picking up orbs of light when your super meter is full will recharge your melee. Now at first glance you would think these perks are rather useless, I know I sure did, but let me explain to you how this helmet might actually prove to be rather useful in PvE content. The most devastating perk on this helmet is going to be the one that allows you to recharge your your melee by picking up orbs when your super is full. Now if this perk works the way I think it will (meaning one orb = one melee charge) then this perk could actually work really well for burning down bosses or enemies with a lot of health (such as VIP targets for public events). Now you might be wondering "how in the world could a titan melee be useful for burning bosses?", well I'll explain. When you combine this helmet with the new melee perk "melting point" on the Sun Breaker sub class, which allows you and your teammates to deal increased damage to any enemy that is burning from your melee, you set your self up to start dealing massive amounts of damage to enemies so long as you can keep generating orbs. Now let me explain how this process would work. This process will work best when you're with a fire team and your teammates also have supers ready to go. Hears how it would go, first you make sure you're melee and super are charged up while wearing Empyrean Bellicose then you run up and punch the boss your fighting and then get to cover. While the boss is burning from your melee ability, you and your teammates should be burning the boss with what ever you have, and one of you're teammates should also use their super on the boss or some lower level ads to generate orbs, but the other teammate should save their super. Once you regenerate your melee by collecting the orbs your teammate generated, just repeat the process; punch the boss, shoot the boss for extra damage thanks to melting point's effect, and have one teammate use their super to generate more orbs for you to recharge your super. Then just wash, rinse and repeat for as long as you can keep generating orbs. Also since it seems as though that the new Artifacts we'll be able to use in The Taken King will have perks to help us generate even more orbs, this process should be made even easier. Now I'm sure you're all thinking this sounds great on paper, but is probably going to be an absolute pain to pull off because titans have a very short range melee and most bosses in Destiny have a powerful melee attack that they use if you get too close. Well here is where the other perk on this helmet comes into play. To counter the bosses melee, all you need to do is jump at the boss. Then once you get close enough to trigger his melee attack, simply use the helmets ability to make you hover and just float above the boss until he's done using his melee. Then just casually drop down, punch him in the face and run away. So these are my thoughts on how this helmet could POTENTIALLY be extremely useful in burning bosses and high health enemies in The Taken King. Now of course this is all just theory, and is completely dependent on how many orbs it takes to charge your melee, how long you are able to hover, and how much melting point increases your damage output. However if this helmet works the way i think it does and is used properly, it could be devastating in PvE, especially in a raid party of six players. So please tell me what you guys think. Am I onto something here, or am I completely nuts?
