Jerk or Justice? You decide!
Tell me Guardians ... Am I a jerk or did I get justice?
Just was running the weekly heroic with 2 others (they were together). I was running voidwalker and creating massive orbs with bad juju and obsidian mind to help my fireteam.
All going well until I get to the cliff at the Nexus. I stop on the cliff and begin to snipe the minotaurs and the other 2 guys push me off. I fall and die, they t-bag me and don't revive me right away.
They eventually revive me but then hide behind the pillar while I try to clear house. I die without the help. They t-bag me again.
I switch to sunsinger and gain my super. I then run right under the Nexus and die. I watch them as they try to start fighting from behind the pillar. Helpless, they both die. As he wipe counter hits 1 second, I resurrect run across the map to behind the pillar - and have a seat. I wait for both of them to depart.
1 sends me a nasty message - I responded that they shouldn't have been trolling in the weekly to start. I basically solo the boss as 2 others join and we finish up.
You be the judge! Am I a jerk or did I get justice?
*this is the first time ever I've had issues with randoms in the weekly heroic*

Edit 2: those saying I was camping of cheesing, thanks for your opinions. I think there's a difference between cheesing and strategical spots. Boss can still damage me and I have to fight a major Minotaur - to me that's not a cheese if I'm fighting a major, DPSing the boss and covering my fireteam. That's my opinion. But it's funny that people will say that's a cheese and it's terrible, then swing across the Crota bridge everyone lol
Edit 3: wow! I didn't expect this to be trending and to get this type of response! Thanks for the kind words Guardians. I know deep down that the overwhelming majority of this community is positive. I was just sharing a story from today and trying to participate in the community. Cheers!

I would've put on my khotsov, preacher, and deacon (all white weapons), along with all green armor and shader then hide and wait for them to die, teabag, switch to good gear, then end it. So in other words, JUSTICE!

Basically I was going off tap in the kills department and creating orbs while anytime I got a bit too aggresive the hunter went invis and came and resed me. The third guy, a self res warlock who always activated it as soon as he got it (Literally the dumbest thing to do on void burn, at least save it for an emergency). Eventually we got to omnigul and he kept playing stupidly aggresive and getting himself killed. I think hunter resed him about 15 times in 3 minutes (not joking). Anywho at one point I wen't to novabomb the yellow boomer night who can see into the room and on my way back I was struck down by the trio-witches, in a safe enough spot mind you. The hunter goes invis and run to res me, as he is ressing me the stupid warlock runs on top of us to gally the witches, they all shoot at him and in the process also kill the invis hunter. We wipe, the retard quits and sends us a message saying: "FFS this is easy you losers". We get some random hunter in, we smash through the whole thing in about 12-15 mins.

Well done! Anyone that goes out of their way to be a prick to someone for no reason deserves retribution! Also being as grounded is on the weekly this week I'm not sure why anyone would want to jump down where you have a 4 story fall that you could easily be one shot during.

The way I see it, the gloves were off as soon as they pushed you off the cliff, killed you and didn't revive you. And then they t-bagged you, which I always regard as a sign of immaturity anyway. There is nothing wrong with taking out Minotaurs from the cliff first, then dropping down. Or staying there and taking out Sekrion, as there is still that spawning Minotaur to deal with. Those two were immature idiots, and you did nothing wrong, just gave them a taste of their own medicine. Personally I wouldn't have taken it [i]quite[/i] as far as you did, and I would have reported them as well. But hopefully they'll think twice in future. You got justice, Guardian. :)
