Can you OD on Marijuana
I've heard many different answers such as, no, yes, and only by eating it, but what the truth?
PS: Could you link some studies maybe?

No you can't OD on weed.

Actually it's the other way round. You can't physically eat enough of it fast enough to kill you. Even with smoking though, you'd be pretty hard pressed. No one has ever died from just weed. Sometimes it complicates a pre-existing condition and will you, but other than that you should be good.

Theres never been a report of OD on weed...only deaths by weed are idiots that cant hand and jump off 6 story buildings

It's not a poison that shuts down vital organs or anything like that. There's no physical addictions to it either. If you take too much you feel like vomiting and if you continue to smoke you're brain will most likely shut down in order to sees the destructive behavior. Only way to die from cannabis is by combination of other drugs or injecting it in your blood, but that's blood poisoning. Technically yes. Practically, no. There is a lethal dosage level of thc but the levels required to reach that there is no practical way to get there. It's far far easier to overdose on water (yes you can od on water) than it would be marijuana. Now, that's not to say other things related to smoking can't kill you either. If you smoke marijuana, instead of vaping or eating for instance, you are burning plant materials and as anyone who has spent a long time downwind of a bonfire can tell you, is not a good thing. It can cause cancer. But is the thc, the active chemical that gets you high responsible? Not so much.
