I have read this contract more than once and have some strong thoughts about it. And now with all the news out it makes a lot of sense. The fact that Destiny is set to be sold as follows is a huge concern: Destiny 1 + 2 DLCs + COMET (TTK) Destiny 2 + 2 DLCs + COMET(name unknown) And this repeats for the next 5 years and Destiny reached their 10 year plan. How you ask? The contract was started back in 2010 and the Alpha/Beta games counted towards the 10 year plan as well. Also in this contract you will find out that Destiny 2 + 2 DLCs +COMET are coming out on LAST GEN. This means we have been playing games meant for older systems when we have new ones. This also means that we are paying for and old gen style game. There is lots more in here as far as royalties and no talking disclosures and giving out products to FANBOYS. *ANY TYPOS OR SPELLING ERRORS ARE DUE TO QUICKLY TEXTING THIS* Edit: Holy cowabonga dude!!! Side note: Don't buy Destiny product until Christmas 2017. WHY??!!! Destiny 2 and all its goodies are still gonna be produced for last gen until the end of 2016. So if we wait until Christmas of 2017 that will give us all TTK and all its goodies, DESTINY2 and ALL ITS GOODIES (DLCs and a COMET) for a way cheaper price. Imagine how much content that would be? That is more than enough to hold me over vs PAYING $40 to have my weapons and gear wiped out and only need 6 more levels to reach endgame level 40. Remember Bungie is paid bonuses based on release. This means if they push a semi decent game with glitches they still get paid a bonus. He mentioned how BUNGIE can't change the pricing on the UK price or US price. The reason is they already sold copies so that means they would owe REFUNDS to 1000s of people. That is not good. Sorry for the over charge pricing. Gotta love contracts. Edit 27 Aug 2015: Adding a video that I found circulating the forum earlier today. This video fits right in here. It is really in line with the contract. It speaks about future DLC, speaks about the "10 year plan" and how it started when the "publishing contract" started. Listen carefully. Be mindful.
