What level are we going to be when TTK launches?

Hi All, I am still very confused with the changes coming up when the The Taken King launches. Is there any official statement regarding what level are we going to be when the TTK launches? Majority of people are saying that if I am level 34 now, I will be starting at level 34. I am not 100% sure about that. I have watched the interview with DeeJ and he didn't definitely confirm or deny whether we will drop back to level 20 or start at our current level. If we start back at level 20: I think that's logical because if we strip down naked, we are level 20 (of course I am talking about people who did reach level 20) but people who reached level 34 by grinding and leveling their gear may find this unfair. Also this would make a big issue on other game content, eg. strikes, PoE, raids, ... - everything would need re-vamping. That's why I think this is not an option for Bungie. If we start at our current level: That means we would only have 6 levels to achieve to get to the highest level (assuming you are 34 now). Do you think this is the best option? I personally think we should have to level up more than just 6 levels as I believe lot of people will just run through that really quickly. What also concerns me with second option is what if I switch one piece of gear which will bring me to let's say level 32 just one day before TTK launches, does it mean I will be locked at level 32? I'd appreciate your opinions Guardians! Edit: http://planetdestiny.com/your-level-will-not-be-reset/ This link helped me understand that whatever level you reach, you will begin at that level even if you drop to lower level by changing your gear before TTK launches. Thanks for your comments everyone!
