Tips for bad trials player

I'm not a good player when it comes to trials in destiny, and barely decent I guess when it comes to regular crucible. So with that said do you guys have any tips for trials when below average players?
Ninja Edit
Hello OP (or anyone who has decided to open the spoiler and read all of this). I'm one of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We may have met before, we may have interacted, you might have heard of us, or you may have no clue as to who we are and what we do. Well, this little note is to explain some of the things we do. One of the major roles we play is to handle the reports that come in whenever a member clicks on the "Report" button, to let us know that there is a post, a topic or a user that either doesn't understand or isn't following the rules that we all agreed to follow when we joined. But that's not the Ninja function that brought on this note. The reason I am writing this is because I have retagged your thread. Bungie.Net uses hashtags to designate their major forums and to help keep things organized. Your OP (original post) was opened, created or given a hashtag that well, wasn't the best choice. It could have been that you were browsing through the various forum/tags that are available on the site or app, and clicked on "New Topic" while in a forum that didn't "match up" with the subject matter of your OP. Or, you may have thought "this belongs here", when unfortunately, it doesn't. That's another role of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We not only try to keep things fun, pleasant and welcoming here by removing rule-breakers, but we also want EVERY good topic to have the best chance to survive, thrive, find the right audience, and get lots of on-topic replies. And so, I have retagged your topic to move it to the forum where it has the best chance of doing that. I give you my word that I have not altered a single letter or character of your Original Post, just placed this message below it and set the tag to better describe your topic. You may notice that you are unable to edit this post anymore. That is a part of the system, and I apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. I've not replied or commented on your OP, since this message would most likely be "off-topic" to your thread and when members see a Ninja or Mentor (who are volunteers from the community) or even a Bungie employee post, they tend to go a little crazy and the disruption to the thread becomes a distraction. I don't want that to happen to your thread. I want it to be in the BEST place possible, to be seen by the largest audience who is looking for this sort of topic, I want it to take root, get replies, grow strong and make these forums a better place. If you have any questions, you should feel free to PM me. My name is now in the upper right corner of your OP where it says "edited by". Thanks for your patience, thanks for being a part of this community, thanks for taking the time to read all of this (I hid it in a spoiler so that anyone who clicked couldn't complain about "too long, didn't read"), and thank you in advance for creating your future topics with the forum/tag location in mind. --Cheers

•
From someone who's gone flawless quite few times. 1. Typical Load Outs Exotic Hand Cannon/ Shotgun or Exotic Hand Cannon/ Sniper Rifle Pulse Rifle/ Shotgun Pulse Rifle/ Sniper Rifle 2. Call out the Enemy team before the match. Know what classes and load outs you're playing against. Watch out for fast revive gear. 3. Develop good communication with call outs and team work. Although some people can wrecking ball entire teams by themselves, Trials typically comes down to a few key kill exchanges and clutch super uses. Notifying your team of enemy radar movement, your health level, and enemy super uses is extremely important and will help keep everyone aware of what's going on in the battlefield. 4. Know when to use your super. Some supers cancel others out. Example: Don't waste a blade dance into a striker Titan who you know is going to smash you. Typically aim for one teammate to use a super each round after the Heavy Round. This helps ensure that the enemy team always has something to worry about and keeps them at bay. (Unless you're getting wrecked) 5. Learn to push. If you or a team mate kill another player, wait a second or two, then hit the body with grenades. Push forward covering different areas and close in on the body and the enemy/ies that will likely be going for the revive. Picking off enemies as they go for revives is critical to winning the round. As they go for the revive they are at a disadvantage, they have to focus on not dying and trying to get their team mate up. You only have to focus on the kill. If they get the revive off, you're typically at a disadvantage because both enemies will now have an over shield that temporarily turns them into juggernauts. 6. Never underestimate the enemy. Play each round to the best of your ability. Getting sloppy and messing around because you're doing well one game is a sure way to risk a loss to a lucky enemy comeback, or in a future game because you underestimated the enemy due to a previous teams play style. 7. Have fun and Don't give up. Trials can be infuriating. Bad Connection, cheaters, and just downright try hards are everywhere. However at the moment it's the pinnacle of PvP so you should expect it. Go in each game with your team and do work. You'll learn from your losses and each card will get you closer to the Lighthouse. -Reproachful
• Tip 1: don't rage get mad Tip 2: try to always stay with 1 other teammate some try to go mid Tip 3: most of the time don't ever try to flank unless you're pushing the same direction with your team but a dif. Way The right armor: hunter- (gunslinger) The symbiote + anything with intellect or discipline try to focus on these 2 also use tripmines Hunter- (bladedancer) The 3rd man or crest of alpha lupi + again anything with discipline and intellect use arcbolt grenades Titan- (stryker) Helm of in most light or crest as mentioned above. Has same name also use lightning grenades Titan- (defender) underestimated class for rushing. Use once again a crest or helm of saint 14 and a shotgun push up untill you're at the half time point and place a bubble, if you don't have one hide around the corner and use grenades by doorways. Warlock- usually you should always be sunsunger to self res most people say their good because they have nothing menacles and its great against gunslinger or bladedancer. However if you go to your spawn and aren't to close to your team you can take them out fast. sunsinger= use purifier robes or sunbreakers if good with grenades also have max intellect Voidwalker= use nothing menacles and have max discipline possible If i left anything out please let me know :)

    • I'm terrible at trials too. Do what I did and ignore trials all together!

    • Practice without thorn or last word but with auto rifles so when the update comes out all the people who got addicted to those weapons will get crushed by you cause you are experienced with auto rifles... You have to be patient though

      • Play elimination, find a gun that suites you, find a reliable team (friends), get comfortable with maps which means lots of crucible.
