Why would we continue playing Destiny (grinding and leveling up gear) when come September and the release of The Taken King DLC all of it will be useless. What's the point of playing until that comes out?? They've come right out and said that all the current gear will literally be useless after a few hours of gameplay. What was the point of playing this full first year? It's been one headache after another with this game. The Taken King is basically a brand new game and this first year of Destiny is a wash. Edit: I almost forgot! If you play in year one, you get the Moments of Triumph emblem! Totally worth it...
