Way too many issues and discrepancies with this particular franchise to justify supporting it any longer. Bungie constantly lies to their fans and that's never an acceptable standard for any commercial product. I'm surprised that there is still a loyal fanbase defending their business model. -When confronted about a lack of vault space... Bungie said there isn't enough space to accommodate that for last gen consoles, so out of solidarity for their users across all platforms they will not extend vault inventory space. Truth: Bungie wants to promote the usage of their new weapons and gear, and wants render all previous year's items completely obsolete, disregarding any progress players have made thus far. Why this was considered a feasible idea is beyond anyone's guess. -When asked about lack of Matchmaking/Filtering... Bungie said Destiny was meant to be played as a community with Clan based approaches on Raids. Truth: Well, how the flying #$@& are we supposed to do Clan based interactions if no basic foundation was properly setup in the first place?! -When asked about the constant weapon balancing/nerfing/buffing... Bungie said that due to an overwhelming number of players exploiting weapons that were previously untested, they will be "adjusted accordingly" as fan feedback comes through the forums. Truth: Bungie had an epiphany when they realized that they launched the game without it being finished and tested thoroughly, thanks to Activision. Moreover, they were frustrated with players finding ways to make Raids easier instead of grinding, which is what they intended. -When asked about what factor determined the price point of their expansions, which didn't supplement enough content... Bungie said, courtesy of our favorite A$$HAT Luke Smith, that it was upto the "player's assessment of value" and arrogantly suggested that most if not all players would "throw their money at the screen" upon having previewed the content. Truth: A$$HAT just nailed it. Why pay anything for an unfinished game? The third subclass was initially missing from the core game, and the story was a cliffhanger, suggesting that the game was incomplete to begin with. Bungie claiming that TTK is a standalone game and is "too big to be an expansion" just solidifies that blatant lie. -When asked about the constant Server disconnect issues across all platforms... Bungie said, nothing. Because they're still looking at the screen that says Error 404 File Not Found. Truth: Makes you wonder where the $500m budget went... Maybe I'm expecting too much from a consumer's standpoint, but that's what consumers do, they have high expectations from a hyped franchise and a AAA developer. Dude you fell in the trap Bungie laid for all of y'all... I called it out way back before HoW even dropped, then when it did, the whole reforge gunsmith deal seemed too good to be true... and it was hahaha. I'm talking about Bungie's habit of artificially inflating game time through addictive grinding mechanisms, then integrating material into the game that nullifies all previous grind, or work done. This was the case in Vanilla with chests, in TDB with ascendant gear and ReXurbishing and above all, in HoW with reforging and ascendant light. This is how it works: 1.Bungie introduces a new system to rank up guns or armour. 2. You spend time jumping through the hoops of acquiring exp. and materials to upgrade said guns or armour. 3. Once you are finished upgrading, Bungie changes the levelling system with the new DLC (TTK) in a way that nullifies all previous grinding efforts and that introduces a new grind. 4. Start from 1. HoW has been the biggest joke/trap yet. Seeing as all guns obtained in HoW will be useless after less than a month of TTK, Bungie has successfully hidden this fact from people long enough to have gotten them to play for hours grinding out certain gun rolls from the gunsmith, worst part is, they justify the time people spent grinding guns out as "content". lol. So yeah, that godroll LMG or that extended range Shotgun you've spent days rerolling to get just right can go in the garbage because Bungie thinks you should use their new guns instead. But also... They really want more of your $$$$$$$$.

I think our old guns should be level able, and taken off the RNG tables, give us something to flaunt as veterans. A friend of mine told me a story about a guy he served with, this guy fought in Nam, he still had his K-Bar and referred to it as the "Best goddamn friend." He ever had. That's what vets do. They keep the weapon that got them through. It's a better trophy than an emblem.

I agree. I put a lot of time into this game. Now I'm just sitting here like "Damn, i gotta start over again?" I don't want to take everything, but a small selection of weapons and cool armor... The Ascended Gear was a leap in the right direction, everyone was able to wear different gear and I could use the Fatebringer and VOC again (By the way I use them because they easily have the best perks for Elemental Legendary Primaries). This DLC update delivered on one of the selling points of the game Customization. I was hoping to add to the collection NOT replace it. Apparently the new weapons sucked so hard that they had to nerf some of the best guns (Ghallerhorn/Icebreaker/BlackHammer) in an effort to persuade us to play with new weapons. As said in numerous threads; if you want us to play with new weapons, you have to make them awesome so we would want to play with them... What is the purpose of this? To leave the loyal fan base cast aside and forsaken? The best course of action at this point to not feel like i wasted time would be to buy destiny 4 in 8 years that way i wont lose a thing. What is the point after what i thought was fun and challenging activities getting rewards that are basically worthless in 6 months? I would say i play the game for the story (which is originally one of the reasons i purchased the game) but I don't; it was the gameplay and RNG drops that made me log those lonely hours at 4am playing the Iron Banner for what I can only assume will be useless Etheric light. I realize it was a choice on my part. However they could have found a way to please loyal fans along with new ones. Why did i get all this stuff? I have each class 34 with ascended Weapons. If this is the continuing trend I really should just wait till Destiny 4 and skip all the Bullsticks in the middle. Not only will i get the complete game hopefully with a cohesive story, skip-able cut-scenes, and an end game ranking system, but i can spend less time, and money. I pray for Bungie's reputations sake that TTK actually gets good reviews, a 9/10 at least.I swear i really want to like this game, been rooting for ya since before day one. This game is still overflowing with potential. With that said I ain't buying a damn thing from Bungievision again until you prove you did something during this drought of content that wasn't already on the disc. The New subclasses should have arrived with the Dark Below and we all know it. Your precedents with DLC have earned you a poor reputation for Quality and Substance Bungie. I hope the new overpriced DLC changes that

Lots of games will never change. So play them. Mario will always jump with the A button. Kratos will always jump with the X button. I want new weapons and gear thats more powerful!
