It has 4 player coop. The combat looks like fun and Dragons. The 4 player co op is icing on the cake. What are your thoughts?

Edited by thefourfoldroot: 8/4/2015 6:12:17 PMLooks like a 3d Diablo, which I'm fine with. Shame though, I presumed it was going to be a Jrpg because of the developer.

For those complaining about the framerate, they have a whole year to optimize the game
-
It looks cool, is a new IP...
-
The only thing I dislike is how the main character looks I hope they make it so you'll be able to customize him.
-
Needs polish (obviously still has over 15 months of development) but it looks great! Platinum Games are the ones behind Bayonetta, right?
-
Looks awesome!

H8ers inbound It looks like older games with the gem pickups . Ending looks like there will be a dungeon mode perhaps
-
My only gripe was the music, coming from Platinum Games amazing musical selections I am disappointed that they only had dubstep but no vocals. Maybe that'll change when it releases.
-
Gotta love Platinum.
-
Looks good. Can't wait.
-
This game looks insane. Platinum is a solid developer and I never miss an RPG.
-
I think it looks fun so far. Cant wait to see more of it. Awesome job on getting this exclusive.
-
I'm going to be completely honest I didn't think the game really look that good; the gameplay looked kind of boring and the graphics in the environment and enemies look dull. It is an interesting concept though.
-
Looks terrible to me but eh
-
I'm willing to bet my left but that if the game was multiplatform or a Sony exclusive then all the people here saying scalebound looks like crap would be singing a completly different tune
-
Looks terrible. Looks like them monster hunter games I hate

Edited by Tuxx: 8/4/2015 4:40:34 PMWell, I think it looks like it could be a good game, but I don't really get what it is they're going for with this game. I just see what their theme is from the video. There's a dragon, there's a guy with a dragon arm and dragon abilities, knights that look like the enemies from FF15, and a pair of futuristic wireless headphones. It looks interesting enough, but I just don't see the cohesion between the different gameplay elements at this point in time. The combat reminds me of something like DMC, but slower, with hitboxes that seem a bit off and damage numbers. Telling the dragon to attack the building or whatever was cool. The framerate on this build wasn't great, the running animation looked a little off, and the dubstep bothered me a lot. I'd understand dubstep in a cyberpunk game or something futuristic but at this point in time I just don't see where it fits in the overall picture. Dragon, swords, knights, bow, and dubstep. Who knows, could all come together nicely, but I'm just giving my thoughts on the brief vertical slice.
-
Yeah, it looks pretty crap.
-
It looks fantastic. It doesn't look over the top combat as other Platinum Games but that's not necessarily a bad thing except for maybe Platinum purest. Framerate looked up and down but it's still early and to be expected plus PG have a history of their games having framerate dips.
-
This game looks fun, with co op too? Fuck yea. Need me some co op! The guys voice when he puts the scale armor
not sure what it's called
reminds me of when ichigo puts the vaizard hollow mask on and changes his voice. Weird reference, but it came to mind lol

I thoight of Xenoblade when i fiest saw the gameplay, i still want more though.
