The point is that Strange Coins and Motes of Lights are the next/new Ascendant Shards/Energies. 80% I open a package, I only get either ONE or TWO Motes of Lights or a Mote and Coin and that's it. It's pretty irritating and the worst part is that they're not even Legendary. I would be semi-ok with at least getting Armor or Weapons to actually know that I got something decent. But of course it's a lose-lose. If you think about it, they had Ascendant Shards/Energies for The Dark Below, right? Then they got rid of it, but when you did get Weapons and Armor and dismantled them, you would still get them, same for now. I'm probably making no sense right now, but all I'm trying to say is, I wish I had better stuff when opening packages and not get ripped off.
